Brick Train Shop rebirth as Bricks and Figs
Brick Train Shop rebirth as Bricks and Figs
A while ago, I ordered a hard-to-find set from bricktrainshop.com. Only after I had been sent an instruction manual instead of the set, assured that I would get my money back if I returned it, and then never received a refund, did I see that it had a terrible BBB rating and there was lots of stories similar to mine all over the internet. I was so upset, and spent a lot of time and energy trying to get my money back, which never happened. Bricktrainshop.com eventually fell off the internet retail map. I chalked it up to experience, but feared that they might come back to life in another way.
I see that a new website has popped up this year called figsandbricks.com (the owner, Clifton Stults, is the same as bricktrainshop.com).
Has anyone else here had experience with the above businesses?

Thanks for the heads up. I heard that there were a lot of people ripped off. Hopefully you have saved a few more.

There's some interesting stuff on Stults out there once you wade past the pages and pages of fraud complaints.

(in which his B&M store is flooded by a sprinkler)
... and a few months later San Jacinto PD picks him up on a felony warrant for embezzlement. No idea what happened after that, though. B&M shop still open, apparently.
