LEGOLAND Florida

Post by Jereguy » Fri Oct 05, 2012 9:59 am

Hey Guys,
I'm going on vacation to Florida next week and I'm wondering whether the Legoland there is worth seeing. A little background it would be just me and my gf we're both 30. I've been an avid collector for over 20 years now. I just don't know what to expect. Is it a lot of little kiddie rides or is there stuff for adults to enjoy. It's around 60 bucks a person I'm just wondering whether it will be a waste.
Thanks in advanced.

My wife and I are the same age and went for the grand opening. Didn't get any freebies, but there are a few things we saw in the stores we hadn't seen elsewhere. If you and your girlfriend love Lego, you will enjoy the experience. It is catered for kids but has several rides for adults too...I think it was worth checking out. Won't be going back till my soon to be born son is old enough to enjoy though.

My only criticism is that they should have building areas so you aren't staring at awesome creations and fighting the urge to build all day
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

Thanks a lot for your input. I think we're going to make the trip down there Thursday. :)
