What happened to the "Sales N Bricks" site?
What happened to the "Sales N Bricks" site?
I saw that is was in beta but I no longer see the link from the main "Toys N Bricks" site and the "Sales N Bricks" site itself hasn't been updated in days.
Re: What happened to the "Sales N Bricks" site?
Hi legodork:
The Sales N Bricks beta site will continue to run as usual (links have also been fixed). I do apologize regarding the news delay as I've been rather busy with my full time occupation. That being said, I'll try to continue to update both sites at least once a day.
Do you find the site/split better than before? We've also be adding a "Forum Discussion" link for future articles that have a topic in the forum (due to some concerns about finding the topics).

I see. Thanks for the update!
I have no particular preference on the site split. I'm relatively new so it wasn't much of an adjustment for me. Although a general announcement about the site split might be informative to all visitors. Or perhaps there was one and I simply missed it.
As an aside, I want to share a quick thought. I find this site to be extremely useful and I find myself on it more and more. Thanks for providing relevant and timely LEGO news and deals alerts. It can't be easy with a full-time job elsewhere. Keep up the good work!!

Re: What happened to the "Sales N Bricks" site?
I did not make any announcement about the split yet as I'm still deciding whether or not to make the split. We do however have some ads up on Toysnbricks.com. Once it has been finalized, I'll make the announcement.
I'm glad that you like the site and also welcome to TnB! Thank you for your kind compliments. If you have any other concerns or questions in the future, please do not hesitate to let me know. :)

IMHO, I don't like the split. Way more convenient to just go on one website with all the news. Just my opinion though.

I agree with Legobrandon. I like going to just one site because the consolidation of news on one site gives me more news to read! It is your website though and you do fine work. I appreciate all the time and effort you put into it. Keep up the great work!

This is a very minor pet peeve I have, but the forum link on the front page now opens the forum in a new tab. It bugs me for some reason, maybe cause I have to close another tab.
Yea, like Shadowsk mentioned, we all really appreciate you putting so much effort into a highly successful website for the LEGO community. Members helping members. Thanks Ice!

I guess there's some good news then... :)sadowsk1 wrote:I agree with Legobrandon. I like going to just one site because the consolidation of news on one site gives me more news to read!
Salesnbricks.com project will be postponed to a later date as I do not have the time at the moment unfortunately. All sale posts will be back on Toys N Bricks until further notice.
Pricenbricks will continue to run as usual. It's on a different server so if Toys N Bricks is down, that site (and Sales N Bricks) will still function. If Toysnbricks.com is down, please rest assure that the downtime will last no more than 30 minutes. If its more than that, we will make an announcement over at Sales N Bricks.
