Yes. You are making a purchase and how you pay doesn't matter.

Yes, but please note that when the gift card was purchased (by you or the person who gifted you) there were no points earned. The points will only be earned at the time of redeeming the GC as if it was a debit card.

If you use another payment method like redeeming your VIP points or if there is a discount via coupon or promotion, then the VIP points earned reflect only the final cost of the items i.e the part payed via debit credit or gift card or cash.
