I'll bet you one of the 50% Star Wars sets will be the UCS Jedi Starfighter. They can't seem to give them away. Not a really iconic ship, and WAY overpriced for the number of parts, but it has a TON of nice pieces.

Crossing my fingers for the Y-Wing or Jabba's palace to be 50% off (I know, in my dreams!)

^ Probably depends on the stock of the local stores. The Barrie store probably still has a lot of the UCS Jedi (they covered the sets stock up now).

I hope so too, but I think it will be UCS and other over stock sets instead, since Y-Wing and Palace are still rather new.

Just got back from the TRU at Markville Mall. The ARC-170 Starfighter (8088) was selling for $39.97 and The Battle of Endor (8038) was selling for $69.97. The ARC-170 was selling fast.

Lmao...that ARC-170 Starfighter has been half price at one of the Walmarts around the GTA for a while now...all of a sudden people are scrambling to buy that set?

It is almost christmas so people are buying them as gifts. Back from a TRU near me and the sets on sale are
The Battle of Endor (8038), Tantive IV(10198), and I was told Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter(8093) was also on for half off, I did not confirm since I have no interest in that set.

The one you are at probably, since I did not recall seeing it for cheaper than $70 at other Walmarts. But they were half off at Sears when they were clearing them out a month or two ago.

Arc 170 was only half price set in Saskatoon

Barrie TRU had the Tantive IV for $99.97, the Battle of Endor for $69.97 and the ARC-170 for $39.97 (all half price.)

Surprised the UCS Jedi was not on sale. I guess they are trying to clear out some of the older, retired high priced sets.

The only Star Wars set I found for 1/2 price was the Arc Fighter 39.97 (reg 79.99). They had Republic Frigate for 129.99 (reg 154.99) and the Pod racer set for 83.97 (reg 119.99).

The Tantive is a great deal - no question about it. They probably need the shelf space for the newer sets coming in prior to Christmas.

The only half price set they had in Regina was the Arc Fighter. Too bad, I was hoping to pick up the Tantive IV.

I went at lunch time and they had about 6-8 boxes of each in case anyone wants to get their hands on these
