I might go in for some minifigures. I was going to breach $100 to get the holiday promo set, anyway, so why not? Was hoping for some better discounts, so I didn't jump during the online VIP promo last weekend, but whatever.

Let's see...

2010 - 50% off
2011 - 25% off
2012 - 20% off

I think I see where this is headed!

Will there be more added later on? Some surprises? What's the likelihood?

Yeah..to see that the deals this year were just flat out posted instead of keeping us in suspense was definitely a bad sign. Last year, the details were kept from us until like 10pm on Thursday or something. This year, nothing really to hide it seems. Hopefully there's other additional suprises.......

Out of what's available, the only things that somewhat interest me are the SW Advent Calendar (only because it's half off), and the Mini Modulars. Neither of those sets are very high up my priority list...compared to last year with the Imperial Flagship.

Yeah...I was expecting those to be regular ones...not duplo. That's another one down.

I was fully expecting Winter Bakery to say Good-Bye... with at least 25% off - or 20%... oh well!

LOL, I was surprised that the tracks are for DUPLO.

The whole thing is like a clearance sale to me. I already got enough CMF. It is disappointed that nothing is on my shopping list.

It is a clearance sale... TLG seems to not understand Black Friday, this is not meant to be an event where you dump your crap, it is mean to have door buster deals that movidate you to go to the mall at midnight or 6am and buy lots of stuff.

There isn't anything there that movidates me to go at 3pm in the afternoon on a normal day, much less Black Friday.

Pass...

I still don't believe that this is actually the list?

If I tried, I don't think I could have come up with a list that is more bleak, depressing and generally useless to me.

I am sad and disappointed. I will be even more so if there aren't any surprises that will show up that aren't on this list of nothing.

Well if you reload the lego site 10 times, the real list will appear, but sadly I am only kidding. After I saw the list over sea, I do not feel that bad.

I thought the railroad trackers were the City versions, but instead they were Duplo. :( I was hoping for a nice discount on exclusives, but looks like that won't happen.

TRU has the track for around 18% off atm after you factor in all the bs. Just need to go over $100. which is a chore. I'm just going to wait for a better deal, I already have tons of track...just want more more more.

I suppose this sums it up. Toys n' Bricks has spoken and they can't even muster a "meh." I guess every "sale" that isn't all that impressive to us just saves us more money for the next sale. ;-)

Anybody know from experience when the sale will start online? I am assuming midnight but don't want to stay up late if that is not the case.
