Lego friends animal packs to be released into wild

Post by Dneul » Thu Dec 13, 2012 3:54 pm

December 17, 2012. Just in time for Christmas. It looks like the turtle, cat, and squirrel.

Those are pretty neat!

What does "hop online to take care of them" mean? (I'm not familiar with the Friends line at all, except for seeing a few in stores).

Do they get a virtual lego pet to interact with?

are these polybags or sets? Wondering if it's best to look at Target or TRU...

I haven't seen them in real life, but I thought they were something like the CMF sets, just not blind-packed (you know which one you're getting).

The LEGO store had a couple in stock; they're "heavier" polybags like the CMFs, a little larger and feel thicker, and it's very clear what's in each bag (like a poly).

Lego store at MOA had none. The woman tried to persuade me I wanted Andrea's bunny house. Or I should check out Target.

The Braintree, MA LEGO Store had them today...they are cute. The bags are a cool way to package them IMO (i.e. easier to stuff in stockings) and they sort of remind me of the Ninjago Booster pack packaging. My daughter is getting all 3  in her stocking.

Target in Ceritos CA had plenty. They are super cute. They were in a cardboard display built just for them, in the friends section with Poly pocket and that sort of stuff

Northbrook, IL LEGO store has all 3 in stock, too - they really are cute. I, uh, may be getting the turtle in my own stocking. I've been a good Mommy this year!
