This will be Zellers' last "weekly flyer sale". Valid for 4 days only from December 21-24. All toys including LEGO will be on sale for 30% off, excluding remote control toys (these ones will be 50% off). Liquidation for all remaining Zellers stores across the nation will commence on December 26.

Agree, and I do not understand why they would go backwards on discounts where they just have a 40% off sale on a lot of toys. Then again, maybe that is the reason why they are going out of business.

Yes, it doesn't make sense. At my local store (Barrie) there is literally no single LEGO item left in the entire store...

Looks to me Zellers is very serious about moving all the toys out before liquidation. 30% (-$10/40) -> 40% (-$5/40) -> 30% (-$5/20), 3 consecutive weeks of high discounts. It will be remembered.

I suppose "Ultimate McQueen" is a good deal with $5 off, making it $20, lower than TRU's last desperate attempt to move all of them at $23. If it's the mini McQueen you're talking about, forget what I just said

According to a post on RFD, the Surrey Zellers has 70% off Toys and Games now. I doubt there will be any LEGO, but its worth a try.
