[USA] Maersk Train (10219) retired at S&H

I just noticed this at S&H.

Now the Maersk Train retirement is official.
I would assume this will go to about $180-$200 in the after market like the Emerald Night in 2013.

I would guess a little higher than $180-200. Granted, Emerald Night was a BEAUTIFUL set, but higher MSRP + Maersk-color elements + train = $240ish inside of six months.

true that.

Maersk Train engine is considered best modern engine ever made among lego train enthusiasts where the Emerald Night gets luke warm praise from the train crowd.

In fact right now, Maersk is selling for more than Emerald Night. (I can't get $185 shipped for a EN as we speak)

Emerald Night wasnt that well received among the train guys for the most part. I dunno, but I really like Emerald Night. I don't mind its not accurate or whatever. But for whatever reason, the train guys are eating up Maersk Train and calling it the best.

Noticed the Maresk Train today at S@H was unretired.

Changed from "retired" to "sold out / hard to find". Either a glitch or maybe they might have a few more to sell later?

I hope to get one before they're gone...feel like this is one set I'll regret missing out on if I don't, even if it isn't the best priced set.
