LEGO Shop Boxing Day Deals?
Re: LEGO Shop Boxing Day Deals?
Not much on sale. Only the winter village sets, a few friends, and a lonely Whitecap bay (20% off). They had lots of the city and star wars advent calendars at 30% off.
Series 9 and the two new 2013 battle packs are instock as well as the tumbler.

^Really? Advent calendars only on sale for 30% off? By this time of the year they should be 50% off plus... (like all other Christmas stuff).
Visit my BrickLink store - 10% off if you mention that you're a ToysNBricks member. http://www.BrickAssortments.com

I am back from the store. The only thing I noticed that has a discount was the winter post office, which was about 20%, but the cottage was regular price. I bought both and guess what, turns out the discount with the scratch card did stack, but I only got 10% off. A bit disappointed but what can you do...I bought all the exclusive sets that aren't available elsewhere so I didn't have much choice.

Ah! You are the guy in front of me on the the black berry! Nice to see you here! The death star is one sweet set!wilson32 wrote:picked up the death star, 2x friend sets for the little girl, one small duplo set for the little chap, got 10 % sas, and used my $40 vip credit, saved $100, not to bad considering the sale was kind of lack luster, i was looking around the mall (Chinook) in calgary, boxing day sales and deals really seem to be a thing of the past.... now to start building.....

Seems like the Fairview store CSRs were clueless compared to the ones at Sherway. The CSRs at Sherway stated it to every customer that scratch and save cannot stack with discounted items .josephliyen wrote:I am back from the store. Re: LEGO Shop Boxing Day Deals?
Just went to the Lego store in Vancouver today (holy bejesus, the crowd!) and like josephliyen said above, the discounts were on winter post office was 20% and the scratch coupon CAN be stacked on the sale price, which unfortunately for me it was 10%. I bought it anyways, and look forward to putting beside my haunted house. Etc. i dunno why is the winter cottage at reg price? Seems like i got back into lego a little to late. Last yrs sale sounded so much better, but then again, we didnt even have a lego store. I stood infront if the big modular building sets, and just couldnt bring myself to buy an expensive set again, at this moment, esp if i am only getting 10%. And the advent calandar was $29.
Re: LEGO Shop Boxing Day Deals?
Bought a few Minifigures (S9), Winter Post Office, and some City set. I got 20% off.
Then I decided to get another Post Office (first one for girlfriend), pulled 50%. :) I picked up the Lego Creator Log Cabin I wanted all year too, good buy for me. I could have gotten more stuff but I didn't want to spend too much and was happy enough. That's pretty much all I bought on Boxing Day.

Congrats! I remember back on black friday, a CSR told me some guy got 50% but all he brought was something really small like a Starwar battle pack.Icetron wrote:Bought a few Minifigures (S9), Winter Post Office, and some City set. I got 20% off.

That one's on my list for next month's LEGO shopping spree, seeing as this month's was primarily for the kids and familyjosephliyen wrote:Awesome! Thanks for grabbing the LOTR set for me lol. I went back today and picked up the Horizon Express.winbrant wrote:Wilson32 and josephliyen,

Congrats Icetron! Wish i were there with u. Cant believe a lady who hates lego got 50%. If i had gotten it, i tallied up that i would have spent $400. Prob better that way!Icetron wrote:Legobrandon wrote:Congrats for pulling the 50% off Icetron!lemus wrote:^ Congrats on getting the 50%.
