How many Atlanta walmarts did you clean out?

Well, let’s see....it was around 10 Walmarts that I visited in the Atlanta metro area. I left plenty on the shelves too. I filled my car full on the 26th and then hit a few more on the 27th and 28th after work.

Evidently no one around here ever returns sets after xmas... But I keep checking !

Finally found an Urak-Hai in a Target this afternoon, but it rang up at regular price, instead of 20.98 :(

Thanks! The area where I live, the Walmarts aren't all that great, the closest one is about a 20 minute drive away and then there's decent competition for the sets out there. I usually try to pick up desirable bigger sets at 30% off at Target, because I know I'm just not going to see them at 50% off anywhere. Every now and then I get lucky. I think the MF Zombies may not have been a return - the box is a bit shelfworn. I'm thinking it may have been hidden in the back room all this time and someone finally found it and put it out on the floor.

Went to Walmart this afternoon and a helpful staff did price check for me for more than 10 sets as there's no price checker at this store.

All LOTR sets rang at full price, so did the 2 remaining Ninjago (9455 and 9448), SpongeBob 3818, Star Wars 9488, and Superheroes sets. Did get 50% off for Star Wars 7913 at $6 as a consolation.

Went to Target nearby and found LOTR, City, and Star Wars sets at full price.

Liberty Road. These were in the clearance section, along with a few other scattered sets not yet low enough to grab. That store tends to roll down the clearance prices, though...

Wow, you did a LOT of driving. Those 12 Walmarts span an area of like 80 by 30 miles, easily. I've never managed to hit more than seven in one day, and that was exhausting enough to never do again. I saw Quinjets and Monster Fighter sets at just a handful I stopped by, and scanned them all, but none were on sale. Got a decent haul of Star Wars and Hero Factory, even some $1 minifigs (although I would have been greedy for many more). Ninjago was completely sold out at every single Walmart and Target I visited.

What kills me is that I have still not seen Spongebob discounted ANYWHERE, despite it having never budged from the shelves in a year. I expected to own a bunch of those at 70% off for parts long since. Now they will probably clear them out at some random time and I'll miss it.

no new friends on clearance here in pittsburgh area. Found some retired friends from the first 2 waves at 30% off.

for all you guys in Pittsburgh area:

A Walmart in Murrysville (east of pittsburgh) has Ninjago Sonic Raiders for $50. They have like 10 at least.

Lots of clocks, heroica, Minotaurs, and duplo left at East Versailles Walmart.

West Mifflin is cleaned out. West MIfflin does have lots of LOTR sets at 30% off, Mines of Moria and Weathertop.

Cranberry and Ross Park still have some city left but cleaned out of Star Wars.

Bethel Park still has some city , and other random 50% off sets.

Robinson Township (Airport) Walmart still has some clearance as well.
edit: 9.95 clocks left, several lego games at half off. good clocks like Kai, cole, Vader, and Fett for 9.95.

There are a few rural walmarts north east ish of the city that are untapped.

I scored a 50% off Dino Base tonight. Yawn. Can't remember the Lego is number on it. It's the big $100 base set. Deals are still out there folks. It's goin right to eBay for a $50 profit.
