All of the ones at my local store say "Item not in system" - so they've (and there are a lot at the registers) been sitting around for the past year...

Target went to 70% today, but only 50% for Lego. Slept in and forgot about the new markdown today and missed out on the stacks of Sith Infiltrators I was eying on.

On the 23rd day after christmas my Target gave to me:

3 Friends Emma's splash pools for 2.98
2 City Bank and Money Transfers for 14.94
and a beat up LOTR Uruk Hai Army for 8.98!

Not a bad score IMO.

There are some 70% off sets out there! I scored:

1 Vampyre's castle $30
2 hero factory speeda demon $10.50
12 the mummy $3.58

Picked them up in Nashua, NH. Still had 10 mummy sets left.

Nice finds. Great price on the castle! And on The Mummys... I was just in Target earlier and was surprised they had fully restocked that set (they had clearanced maybe 10 or so for 8.98 a few weeks back) I price scanned... and back to full price.

Nice find! and here I was all excited about finding SW series 1 planets at 70% off today.

Wow. That's intense. Around here in NorCal the Targets way downstocked this year and were cleaned out before new years. very little has survived even to 50%. Totally different from last year's bonanza, they must have learned a lesson.

I found a couple of 9676: TIE Interceptor & Death Star - Star Wars/Planet Sets for $2.98 - not a bad deal on these but that's about it.

The SW and City advent calendars are surprisingly still at $34.99.

I think I saw a few Hero Factory 6230: Stormer XL for $10.xx but not sure.

That's about it here - but I may go around this weekend and check once more before officially stopping the seasonal search for discounts as everything here (South) is pretty much gone.

At my local store, I found

2 Stormer XLs for $7.48 each
1 beat up Joker Ultrabuild for $4.94
1 Heroica Fortaan for $11.42
1 beat up MF Mummies for $3.58

And, really, the only reason the early bird Moms didn't beat me to any of this was due to the fact they were still scattered among the LEGO section, not the clearance section and the last mark down had not been stickered on any of them. All of the clearance items went breathtakingly fast...

Oh, I also found 1 Geonosian Starfighter for about $16 that someone had carefully hidden behind a stack of big box sets - sorry, guy, I did find it!

I visited Target stores near me.

Similar findings here in SoCal.

1 Cole's Tread Assault(9444) $19.98
3 LEGO Duplo Let's Go Vroom (6760) $3.88
1 MF Mummies $3.58
1 Lego Ambulance(4431) $9.98
1 Lego Friends Andrea's Stage $4.94
3 HEROICA™ Caverns of Nathuz $5.98
1 Jocker (4527) $4.48
1 HEROICA™ Castle Fortaan (3860) $10.18

The Good: The few things I did manage to find were 70% off.
Some MF Mummies $3.58
DC Large Joker - Green Lantern $4.48
a couple of Hero Factory XL Stormer $7.50
Nathuz Game $5.98
Star Wars planets 1 $2.98
The Bad: Very slim pickings at all the stores here. Either they ordered a lot less stock than last year or people are getting desperate for any kind of discount at all because almost everything was bought at only 30% off this year.
The Ugly: One of the Target employees was bragging how they had moved a Jabba's Palace off the floor so that they could buy it for $30 when it went to clearance. I thought it was not the smartest thing to be saying in front of customers as it ticked a few of us off.
Conclusion: Fewer and fewer good deals at Target every year is a bad sign.

I'm scratching my head about the advent calendars too. I usually buy one around this time of year for next Christmas. But I'm not paying full price.

I actively collect HF parts for MOCing, but Breez 3.0 is such a terrible set even for parts. The white beams are the only rare part, and there are so few other white HF parts, it's not a very useful color. Maybe if it goes to 70% off. Maybe.
Well, I got 8 Breez at 70% off.
