[CAN] 2012 Star Wars Advent Calendar $12.50

Just went into my Lego store here in Calgary and they are now priced at $12.50. Not bad for the parts along, and the minifigures are great too. I am not sure if other lego stores across Canada is the same though.

I was at the Lego Store in Vancouver today and same deal. I bought the last one but they said they should be getting a shipment of more soon... apparently theres a couple hundred in the warehouse to get rid of.

Most likely a result of selling so few during the holiday season. Even after Christmas, I was in during boxing week and they had shelves full of them. The expected need for them never materialized and the extras just sat in the warehouse.

TBH, I think they are great at $12.50 piece count wise, you also get 8 or 9 minifigures although 3 of them are really crap... There are no other advent calendars on sale, just the SW ones.

Was told Vancouver got more in today and they are flying off the shelves. Gonna pick up one or two tomorrow before I go to the Canucks game. :D

I went to Oakridge yesterday and they confirmed the shipment was coming today (Tuesday). I also confirmed that they had 5 cases of 3 so a total of 15.

When I went today at 5pm, there look to be 5 behind the counter 'on-hold' and none on the shelf. I had to ask and they went to the back to get it for me. Not sure how many out of the 15 were left.

Maybe the workers there were told to mess with our heads, when truth is that they still have quite a bit, maybe not at the stores but at their warehouses. That sometimes will get people like myself, who was on the fence. On the other hand, there are a lot of small toy stores and independent sellers out there whom might think these are investments. Well, I hope they do not plan to cash them in anytime soon seeing how well they sold through the holiday. At this price why not, but I highly doubt they will put them up at cost, so if they double up or hope for a bigger profit, then good luck to them I say.

Out of stock online and it still show 34.98 CAD, so this is instore only, just need to make a drive out to one of the three stores that still have them, call first before going to save a trip and time.

Local TRU still has them for around $30.

Almost embarrassed to say how much I paid for a few today. $4.90 each. I took all 3 of them. How could I not at that price? My boys will have Star Wars advents this coming Christmas, and one for me. :)
