Dino- TRU still has a decent selection at most places in store. they restocked after christmas or something. After building a few dino sets with the kids Im impressed, especially with the T-rex!


There are also some Technic that make the 20% off coupon attractive such as the Mercedes Unimog which is RRP at most TRU locations,(yep TRU actually dropped price from 209$ in store to $199.!) so 40$ off and the polybag!

The Mercedes Unimog is likely to go EOL soon and its going to be extremely Hard To Find down the road!

I got the email with the 20% off one item, trying to decide if it's worth stopping by after work or not to check and see if anything is reasonable. Last time I was there, they still had 2 8043 at $199, so that might be worth picking up for resale one day...

If you plan to use it, it's either use the 20% off coupon or get the free Chima Polybag. The offer cannot be used in conjunction with the free polybag promo. Sucks...

Nothing here either. I have a TRU gift card I'm waiting to use with a discount like this, but I have to wonder what the point of a rewards program is if 99% of the time a member doesn't receive any of the benefits. Frustrating.

This coupon doesn't appear to work online on just about any LEGO I've tried (I'm guessing because they aren't "regular" price since they are all on "sale" for MSRP).

I'd try it in store, but pretty sure they won't price match the website and then take 20% off of that. It's unfortunate. Because it's basically a worthless/back to MSRP (or more) coupon unless I score a CMF with it! With TRU tax Barrel Escape is $45, Unexpected Gathering is $87.99, Wargs 59.99, etc when they aren't on "sale" LOL

The coupon clearly states in store only. I was hoping to use it online too. Thanks for the heads up anyway brickarmor. As daryl noted, I was hoping to use it on a set that was on TRU sale online that was actually MSRP...barrel escape.

Bah, just noticed that (that it was in store only). My bad - I tend to skim coupons for ineligble products and expiration dates only hehe.

I suppose Barrel Escape at 36ish isn't bad though. Even if 32ish is better :)

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the "Prices are matched AFTER deducting any TRU coupon savings and other offers from our price"... So that means they'd reduce the 44.99 to 36, then go ahead and raise it to 40 to price match their own online price?
