[Walmart.com] Incredible 9.97 Ninjago Value Bundle
Hey folks,
I just wanted to let everyone know about the new Walmart.com Ninjago bundles.
http://www.walmart.com/ip/LEGO-Ninjago- ... t/23014716" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
For 9.97 you can bundle Kai's Fire Mech and Spitta spinner.
For 29.97 you can bundle Golden Dragon and Spitta Spinner.
Its basically a bunch of choices with a free Spitta spinner attached!
Both the above bundles are actually pretty nice considering there are no spinner sets for 2013.
The Kai Fire Mech bundle is a good, if not stellar, deal for the kids.
cheers

Not sure I'd label this incredible, but it is a deal, in that you get a free spinner which I'm guessing they have more in stock (of this character anyway) than they know what to do with.
If you're a fan of spinners (and/or Spitta), it's a no brainer, as it's basically buy one get one free if you pick the Fire Mech, which is a fantastic $10 set.

I don't know any boy around here who doesn't want more snake minifigs - and my son and I both love Kai's Fire Mech. (Okay, I admit, we used the set to bribe him one night to accompany us out for Indian food (we fed him before we left for the restaurant). Mom and Dad had a nice dinner, he built the Fire Mech while we were eating - everyone was happy. It's still a great little set.)
I'm not so sure about the other ones, but I think the Fire Mech bundle is a good deal.

Still a good deal if you need the Mech right now. Otherwise there are definitely better opportunities to pick this up.
Spitta isn't a very popular minifigure. I still have a WM overflowing with Spitta for $5 each.

Cool deal. I just saw the review on the Fire Mech and even though I don't care about Ninjago, I immediately started thinking about MOCs. Switching out the red/gold parts for yellow and other modifications, I can build Blacktron 1 mechs! The hard part is the mechanical arm piece (the fingers) as only the Chima Eagle set has them in yellow (x4) and no one is selling that piece in bulk yet. I will have to make them black until I find a x16 or x32 (for two hands) lot.
Update: I put in a Bricklink order. $100+ to customize 4 of the $10 Fire Mechs making them $35 Blacktron Mechs. I ordered some extra parts to add detail to the back and to experiment.

wow very nice man, I'd love to see the art project when its finished!
update:
Kai Fire Mech and Goldden Dragon is no longer available for the promotion bundle. bundle is still live though.
grats to everyone who snagged a Spitta spinner and Kai's Fire mech for $10!
can't beat 3 quality minifigs, a mech, and a spinner/cards for 10 bucks.

That sounds awesome! Please post some pics of your MOC when you're finished.SpaceNinjaDino wrote:Cool deal.
