(Canada) - Walmart Clearance YMMV

Apart from the Fire Station, I found all of these sets on clearances for the prices mentioned in previous posts at the Walmart at Morningside & 401 (Scarborough). On average, I'd say there were about 3-6 of each set on the shelves. It looks like they had just done a reset of their toy section, so everything was nice and neat and easy to find. Most sets were in the Lego aisle, but a few were in a clearance aisle next to the bikes.

They also still had a ton of Mace Windu Starfighters for $40 lol.

Ha, I was just there around the same time too. Didn't see the Fire Station either.

Geez, that Mace Windu Starfighter set has been on "clearance" forever. Maybe it's time for Walmart to reduce it some more?

With the Fire Station being an old 2010 set, I was not surprised on not being able to find it anywhere. Mace was reduced to $20-25 at some point at some Walmarts. For the stores that still have stocks, it will eventually be reduce, question is when.

At my local Walmart, they used to have lots of Mace sets but they all disappeared recently. Wonder if they just moved them to the stockroom or consolidating them at other Walmarts, which would be kind of odd.

Many of these sets will linger on the shelves throughout spring :) same as last year. Unless they add further in-store discounts (i.e. Police Station for $20).

damn walmart!!! says they have some recycling trucks in inventory but none on the shelves .....and the toys manager says they threw out all the advent calanders!!! oh i think theyre going to lego hell!!!

They actually told you they threw out all the advent calanders? That is the funniest thing I have heard all day, it is like saying they threw out all their pennies, $20-50 worth of it. Also I wonder if you bothered them about price matching Lego Stores and ticked them off by doing so?

i used to work at this wal mart so i know the manager....he said they kept marking them down....i found a calander that was totally destroyed but the lego was still fine, i asked what he did with it and he said threw it out!!! so i said you buy that lego or you let me know and i'd be more then happy to give you $5 for it!! lol

My bf and I spent an evening chasing Jabba's Palace in all the nearby Walmarts. No luck! BUT he went to TRU at Market Mall in Calgary with a printout of the Canadian Walmart site showing that one of those nearby Walmarts had it in stock (although we certainly couldn't find any on the floor and we asked the salespeople!) -- So they price-matched!

Considering that it was retailing for $154 at the TRU, getting it for $98 is a steal! Even though the set's only 717 pieces :P.

Just found the following Friends sets on clearance at the Cedarbrae location (Markham & Lawrence):

3935 Stephanie's Pet Patrol - $10
3932 Andrea's Stage - $10
3934 Mia's Puppy Palace - $10

All of these have an MSRP of $14.99. Not much of a discount, but I think it's the first time I've seen Friends sets on clearance.

My wife just scored a police station at the meadowvale WM in Mississauga. It was in the clearance section. After having scouted all the WM around Markham and Richmond hill am not finding much other than the miner trucks she was thrilled, and I was supper happy... But needed to resist until we confirm the price at $60. Best deal ever!!! We built the first police car with my 4 year old daughter already. We will finish the build an then I will use the bricks for my MOC. :) supper happy hubb, here!!!!!
