Wow, that's really coming along! Looks great! Can't wait to see part 3 :)

The road looks like a monster undertaking all of its own brick building it.

Very nice setup! Very impressed.

Question - at the far end, the yellow train station - is that a set or a MOC? I thought it might be 7997-1: Train Station but it looks bigger than that...
LEGO, it's not just a toy, it's an addiction... ;)

I think it is 2 7997's placed behind one another.

Yes, amazing layout. And the voice over is adorable. Loving the CN train.

Keep up the great work!

An ideal setup for City. I would do the same layout if I extend my collection to train sets. I like your police station MOC, I thought it was a post office before looking at the close-up. Did you use one box of town house to build it?

Just my two cents, you may need street/road plates for your downtown.

thank you for the positive feed back.

yes the yellow train station is just two of the standard sets(I think from back in 2007) set up back to back, The platform from one of the sets has been moved to the downtown in front of the cafe corner. Ideally I should rebuild one of the sets to be a proper mirror image of the other. But that is a low priority item at the moment.

The building that has the police out front is marketed as the Consulate by BrickCityDepote. They sell the instructions for around $10. It uses a single box of the Town hall to build. Still have lots of pieces left over for other creations. The only parts you need in addition to the town hall set to build the consulate/police structure are two black stair cases.

I wish I could take credit for the beautiful CN and VIA locamotive. those are the creations of Matt Fox in Ontario Canada. I bought them from him a few months ago as they were just too nice to pass up.

Check out the third update video to see the addition of the brick built roads. I think they have a sharp look to them. we still need to expand the sidewalks. I need to slow down on the spending for the next few months though as it has been a bit pricy getting to this stage.

Glad everyone is enjoying the updates.

Cheers
