They have mostly only the newer lego sets
-aat, vader fighter, venator, battle of endor, echo base, v-19 torrent and y wing.

Would it be possible if we print out a copy of the sale and bring it to tru, walmart, etc and price match it? I really want the home one crusier...

That code worked for me this morning to get the torrent for $40. Keep in mind that the code expired today and maybe you ordered it too late. By that i mean theres 6 different time zones in Canada depending on where you live... Thats probably why.

I kind of hate tru sometimes.. their sales are usually not that great with most sales back to msrp price. I guess i may have to fork out the retail value for that set than...

But you can still use the other coupon code for $10 off when you spend $100 or more. However, for this Sears Customer Appreciation coupon code, just keep in mind that it can get removed anytime. Ordered the Battle of Endor from Sears.ca on Wednesday, Nov 11. Recieved an email confirming my order on the 12th, but then today, Nov 14, got another email stating Battle of Endor is unavailable. Lame!!!!!!

Their shipping service really sucked. There were only some sears bag wrapped around the lego and thats all. Not even a box on the outside to pacakged the lego box.

My package was wrapped in shopping bags as well. Package was poorly packed and UPS even shipped it to the wrong house - my neighbor. Theres no protection for the LEGO and
that = damage, crush, heavy wear box. So my suggestion is if your going for LEGO from Sears.ca, prepare to get a crappy shipping service. Not sure about ship to store though.

Upon pickup I saw that the sets I ordered were slapped with a sticker on it (but they peel off easy) and were put into a sears bag. One of the five sets I ordered had a large puncture on it so I returned it and got refunded on that one. When they refunded, they returned a few more dollars more than I paid because they could not break the $10 coupon up amongst the 5 sets.

Looks like its the same for instores.. was there wear (that is from heavy items placed on the lego and results in "lines" along the box) ? or was the 4 other set box perfect? I complained by calling Sears and they wouldn't compensate anything despite i receive a damage crushed box.

the sears deal for 8527 comes out to $297 plus taxes. if $15 coupon still good, this brings it down to $272 plus taxes (or $285-310).

costco.ca is also selling the new 8547 mindstorm nxt 2 for $299.99 plus taxes (or $315-340) if you want the more recent version which has slightly more parts and the new computer brick.

Anyone in the north toronto area interested in 8547 for pickup/meetup, I have one for sale, $310cdn total.

Anyone else getting the run around from Sears Customer Service? Ive been waiting 3 and a half weeks for Hyperspeed Pursuit and no one at Sears will give me a straight answer about the status of my order!! Very frustrating!! :twisted:

Finally got an answer regarding my Hyperspeed Pursuit! Sears lost my order :( So they offered to sell me The Battle of Endor for $87 CAD!! Thats $43 off! :D :D Moral of the story: Be Persistent!!!
