According to the weekly ad, Target'll have the same version (with the minifig) in stores on Tuesday, at $22.99.

EDIT: And lamest of lame things - the pre-order price of $24.99 didn't adjust and can't be cancelled

Just a heads-up for those not watching the register closely (or checking before-hand)... At my store this morning, the BD/DVD package with the figure was ringing up as $29.99, so a quick price adjustment may be necessary.

Yeah, they adjusted the price at the register for me with no problems. The manager was aware of the price mistake. This set is now sold out on the Target website, so get 'em at your local Target store while they last.

Worst advertised "exclusive" ever....

The find item in store doesn't help, because the one store I was at had bunches of a hobbit blu-ray (without figure) and AS ADVERTISED stickers all over the place. The guy in electronics said they only got "a few" of their advertised exclusive, and several cases of ones without the figure that evidently have the same dcpi... ><

Luckily I found one at the third Target I checked :) (It rang up at 22.99, no price adjustment neccessary)

I preordered and it says it hasn't shipped yet. I'm a little worried seeing as how you mentioned it is sold out online. The few extra bucks doesn't bother me as long as everything goes smoothly.

Just finished watching this movie again a couple hours ago...The "exclusive" featurette that comes with it is a LEGO Hobbit short about some of the design process, and a tease about more sets with the next movie (no specifics), sort of interesting though :)

@Hutt - I hope it goes smoothly. It's weird it didn't ship at least on release day (I also preordered, but just bought in store from impatience; I tried to cancel via phone - they couldn't guarantee it would actually cancel, and said maybe I would get a cancel email, or a ship email over the next couple of days, neither yet though so not sure what is going on with them and this release).

For an exclusive Bilbo mini-figure, it's a bit disappointing that the only unique piece is his torso.

Funny at my target Tuesday, they had tons of them in electronics and up front by resisters but with signs touting their non sale pricing even tho they rang up on ssle

A Lego collector friend of mine said that he saw it at the new Target in Toronto.
