Legends of Chima , what do you guys think about them

You are correct. I've remember see'ing some Lego post / email / video that specifically said that Ninjago will be back.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

If anyone has a link to share that would be great ;DLuciant wrote:You are correct. I've remember see'ing some Lego post / email / video that specifically said that Ninjago will be back.
Would enjoy seeing them come back.
But nice to hear people are enjoying the Chima line for now as well.

This line actually brought me back to Lego. I saw the add on Cartoon Network for the show and looked up the sets on Lego's website. My first set to start with was Razcal's Glider. I love the minifigures and the vehicle playsets are great. The Speedorz Game is fun and they are fun little builds. To date I have all but the Easgle's Castle and Cragger's Command Ship. Then come the summer sets!

Me, personally, I love the Chima sets, but because they vibe with Thundercats and Guin from my misspent childhood in front of the TV and reading comic books.
If I was a kid, I'd spend hours playing in the Chima universe. I'd adopt an X-Men storyline and create a race of hybrids - half-bird/half-lion, half-bird/half-croc, because flying lions and crocodiles are terrifying and cool. There would be two warring factions of hybrids, those that want to dominate the purebred races, and those that want to work together and live in peace with the purebred races. Of course, the purebreds would generally fear both hybrid groups, and all races different from them, and war on them all.
I guess I should add the disclaimer that I don't actually have any Chima sets, nor plan to buy any; I just think it's a great concept for playing, and even learning about how different people and cultures work with and war against each other. And olive green is awesome.

My kids loved Ninjago, and were really disappointed when the show ended and the line was stopped. They tried out Chima, but it just hasn't resonated. They also don't like the show. Maybe that is why they don't like the toys, they need to relate the two? I don't know, but either way, they are chomping at the bit for the new wave of shows and toys for Ninjago.
