Chapters - In Store

Just visited my local Chapters today. Found several really nice deals in their sale section.

They had:
Hobbit, Goblin King Battle for $60.00 (54% off the regular $129.99)
The 4 Chima Speedzors for $5.00 each (75% off the regular $20). Approx 80-100 pieces in each, and some nice ones.
City 4441 Police Dog Van for $15 (66% off the regular $45).
City 4202 Mining Truck for $15 (66% off the regular $45).
Star Wars 7915 V-Wing for $10 (60% off the regular $25).

It'll obviously be a YMMV thing, but at these prices they were worth picking up just for the pieces alone for me. Might be worth giving your local store a call to see if they have anything.

I wasn't sure if it was worth getting all the Goblin King sets and then selling off the mini-figs. I don't pay attention to that market - anyone know of you could get say $3 per minfig and bring the cost of all the other pieces down to $35?

Bayview Village when I went only had about 20% off similar sets, same with one or two other locations from what I remember. Whereabouts are you located?

Darn it...I'm not there right now, I'm there during the school year but not there right now. Ugh...they WOULD have a deal there when I'm not there. Kinda tempted to ask you to pick up possibly Goblin King for me, could maybe pick it up from you 2/3 weeks from now during the weekend.

(though I'm not sure enough if I actually like the set enough or only because it's on sale).

My honest suggestion is if you want to collect the dwarfs then you might want this set. But since there are two more movies comming, I say we will have more choices on sets in getting all of them.

You got lucky good sir. Just visited my local Chapters in Coquitlam and they only had them at 20% off. Hopefully they get discounted even further soon.

My Chapter store had the Elite Clone Trooper Battle Pack for 30% off and some of Planet Series sets for 20% off.
