Hello, were you there on Saturday? They were actually marked down but sold out way before Saturday. I got 2 sets price matched on Friday.Shijima wrote:Nothing was marked on clearance at the Market Mall location in Calgary.

Re: Target Clearance
Was at the Toronto Danforth Target on Sat, they had quite a few of the Weathertop sets at 50% off. No sign of Mines of Moria or the Orc Forge.
Re: Target Clearance
There were still a couple of Orc Forges left at Target Waterdown yesterday.
Re: Target Clearance
Waterdown is out. They thought they put one on hold for me, but they couldn't find it. So they gave me Mines of Moria for $30 since they felt bad that I drove all the way out there. Deal of the year!
I also checked every Target in Hamilton, Burlington, Brampton, and Milton. No Orc Forges left in stock :(
I think i'm going to get this from Target.com before they are totally gone.

Re: Target Clearance
Price wise yes, I doubt anywhere can beat $30, maybe in the states with their clearance pricing. Not judging by piece count, forge being exclusive and soon to be discontinued for $25 is a bit more attractive. Either way, at those prices, they are great deals, again, I sincerely think those are the lowest prices, $25 and $30, we will ever see here in Canada for them.Rankedu wrote:Waterdown is out. Re: Target Clearance
I ended up grabbing two of the Orc Forges from Target.com and shipped them to CBI USA.
The Ajax and London Target locations didn't have it in stock either.

Re: Target Clearance
You grabbed two for $40 a piece? With it being discontinue and all, I thought twice even when they were at that price a couple of weeks ago here, but I passed then. Personally I would only buy it within the range of $10-30, it is a great set to go along with the Tower set, or to compete the Lord Of The Rings set collection, but that is about it.Rankedu wrote:I ended up grabbing two of the Orc Forges from Target.com and shipped them to CBI USA.

Re: Target Clearance
It's fluctuates between "retiring soon" and "out of stock" on S@H. Target stores near Buffalo and Niagara Falls haven't stocked it in a while. Target online also goes out of stock on it from time to time.
Due to this I figured I might as well get it now or face eBay/Bricklink prices later. I got the second one in case I want to resell it in the future. The first one is going with the Tower of Orthanc in my living room :)
Yes they were $40 each. Well $38 each after the RED Card discount.

Re: Target Clearance
Went to Target thinking I would snag a couple of clearance priced playsets.. Seemed rather hopeless until an employee brought out a cart and a price gun. In the bottom of the cart was the tie fighter! I grabbed it and scanned it in the pricing computer.. Nothing. The guy then printed me a clearance sticker $27.87!!
Re: Target Clearance
No sales at all in the Orillia (Ontario) target... plenty sets just no clearance. They all have a clearance tag next to them - at reg. price. Even inquired with the department manager but nada... I guess their clearance is full price...

Re: Target Clearance
I was at the Orillia Mall a few weeks ago, and they had the Orc Forge, Weathertop and Tie Fighter on discount, but not 50%. I didn't bite since the prices were still too high for me. When I was there on Monday, everything was gone.

Re: Target Clearance
Just went back to Target. They still had Orc Forges in stock which were marked at various prices but when I scanned them on the self scan they came in at full retail price of 50 bucks. When I had a target employee with a lrt scan the item they came in at 14.99, so I bought four. However at the checkout they came up at full price and I told them that the lrt had it for cheaper and the checker called over an employee and had him scan the item and it came in again at 14.99 so they sold at that price!

Re: Target Clearance
^^ Wow that is a good deal - odd that their pricing differs so much even in-store.

Re: Target Clearance
My understanding is that every two weeks stuff that is on clearance goes down again in price...
Re: Target Clearance

Re: Target Clearance
Interesting, prices shown on the LRT can be changed anytime, good thing we can track who or whom used the LRT, else, any csr will be able to change prices on anything.ninjabot4 wrote:Just went back to Target. Re: Target Clearance
Two different employees checked it on their LRT's so I don't think anyone could have changed price.
