For 2 weeks from September 6-19, Toys R Us Canada will be offering up to 20% off ALL LEGO Super Heroes, Lord of the Rings and Hobbit Building sets. As always, free shipping when you spend $100 or when you purchase 3 or more LEGO sets for online purchases.
This Saturday, September 7 from 11am-1pm, they will also have a LEGO Star Wars Minifigure Trade-In Event. All you have to do is look for a sales associate wearing a LEGO Star Wars badge. From previous trade-in minifigure events, you basically trade your minifigure for the minifigure that the staff has.

Yes I went last year but this time the event start at 11am I guess lots of kids will be around so I'm not sure if I wanna be the only 20 yrs old guy there...

I guess you have to trade with STARWARS minifigure however I doubt the employees of TRU know the difference

Except for being the first person in the line, participants would trade back a poor conditioin city minifig from another participants. The TRUs employee would not carry plenty of new minifig for this event. It is a better idea to trade with members from this forum.

Yeah, unless you get there first, all they have are the worn out minifigures the kids in front of you traded in. I am not going to waste my kids time this time.

What kind of minifigures do they have?

Haven't head out there but talked on the phone with the employees and learned that there are 5 different ones. They dont know the names well but said there are a clone trooper and a droid.
