Fun, FREE event for the entire family. Join a LEGO Master Builder and Boston firefighters at the Boston Fire Museum for a day of building and learning on the eve of National Fire Prevention Week.
• Explore the museum and check out an antique fire truck
• Help the LEGO Master Builder complete a 4’ Fire Department fire badge made of LEGO bricks
• Get your picture taken with a solid brick 6’ LEGO CITY firefighter
• Explore 3’ LEGO CITY-scape diorama complete with brick-built vignettes of fire prevention tips
• Learn best practices from real life firefighters
According to the National Fire Protection Association, there are over 300,000 home structure fires every year yet two-thirds of Americans have never developed or practiced a home fire escape plan! Boston families will have the opportunity to pair an educational conversation with the familiar medium of LEGO play and get tips to further engage, excite and encourage conversation around a potentially sensitive topic.
