Amazon.fr no longer selling CMF for cheap?

Post by SpaceNinjaDino » Wed Oct 09, 2013 7:27 pm

For CMF Series 4-9, I was able to get display cases of 60 for $90-$109 USD each from Amazon.fr. I skipped Series 10, but was looking for Series 11 and wow, they only sell a case of 30 for $208 USD! That's a quadruple increase in price.

A series 11 case of 60 will run you about $180 shipped either from Bricklink or eBay. That's a full $3 a piece so the bulk discount is gone. The only thing you are buying is the possibility that the case has not been picked through.

I see that Series 1 Zombie is selling for ~$30 each recently. Geez, I could probably part with most of mine for that much.

Wow. The 30 pack was available for pre-order during the last half of September for 59 Euro. It just recently came into stock, and that must have been when the price spiked. I would expect it will drop down to a more reasonable level soon. A 2.5x increase in price is crazy.

I can't believe people spent so much on him while a variant version of zombie from 850487 Halloween Accessory Set is still available at Lego store. Does the color of the outfit really that matter?
