Target.com Buy 1 Get 1 30% Off LEGO
Target.com has buy 1 get 1 30% (some exclusions). Some LEGOS are still marked down like King's Castle (74.99)

With the right pairings, you can dig into the mid40s% off on this deal.

I was just going to post. Some decent deals. Amazon I think is fitting everyone's butt this year with their sales.
Too bad the 50% off Galaxy Squad sets aren't in stock. However the big $70 bug set is on sale and in stock for $35, buy two for about $60.
And everything seems to ship free.

Guys what happens if I buy two King's Castles and return one in store? Is the return value exactly half of my total order amount like they do at TRU? Or do they remove the entire 30% off savings also so I am left with one at no discount.
Re: Target.com Buy 1 Get 1 30% Off LEGO
In order for the deal to work, it is buy one get one 30% off, else it will simply be, 10-15% off any item. Toys R Us let you guys do that in the states? I mean say buy two items of the same value with a total of $100, regular $200, on a buy one get one free sale, then return one in store and they will refund you $50? No wonder US economy is screw up.grymg wrote:Guys what happens if I buy two King's Castles and return one in store? Is the return value exactly half of my total order amount like they do at TRU? Target is one of the more brighter of Big Box Retailers and gives you a Refund Price listed (in stores at least) when they have a BOGO sale. The "refund price" they list is going to be a split of the discount you got... for my example, I assume both items were the same price (otherwise they keep the discount proportion the same):grymg wrote:Guys what happens if I buy two King's Castles and return one in store? I.E.
BOGO 30% = Target considers each item discounted 15% for refunds.
BOGO 50% = Target considers each item discounted 25% for refunds.
B2G1F = Target considers each item discounted 33.3%.
TRU on the other hand USED to be stupid and actually do the "Buy 1 Get 1 50%" where if the 2 items were not the same exact item, you could refund the "full price" item, and end up getting 50% off one. They have moved to a similar system like Target, but is no where near as good.
Hope this helps
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

Cool, thanks. I bought two of the same item but decided I don't need both so I'll return one in store.
They were discounted to begin with before the promo, so 15% on top of that is really good.

It's the one thing TRU does right, they have a return price under the price on your receipt. Buy you can't buy a $200 set and a $100 set and return the cheaper one for $50. You get $75 back, makes perfect since...
Except they should just have a 25% sale... but... shhhhhh. :)
