Barnes and noble have last year city advent calendar for $26.95. Regular price is $29.99.

Don't order this item!!! I just got the one I ordered and I got this year advent calendar and not last year as described and pictured. Even the price is from last year advent calendar, but anyways what a bummer...

BN has a 15% coupon right now. coupled with the cheaper price, it might be better getting from BN than elsewhere. ;)

I can confirm this. My order arrived today, and it is indeed set #2824, with a 2010 checklist on the back. I really would have preferred last years version.

Anyone call BN to see what they can do?

They pasted last year's UPC onto the UPC to 'correct' the error. What a bunch of morons.

Wow, THAT's interesting... so they are aware of a screw-up, didn't inform you, and then tried to cover it up with a kludge solution. I would take them to task on this one. You expected a certain product and received the incorrect item, that's enough for a full refund and maybe some coupons or something, seriously.

This happened once or twice before at bn.com; but did you really think last years advent calendar would still be available at bn.com! This is long gone from retail in north america and only available in the aftermarket!

I would complain and see if you can get a refund. Normally they would tell you to send it back if you want refund but you can complain that you should not have to pay to bring it back and there are no stores in your area.
