As well as the make and take event on Saturday (11am-1pm) they are offering:

Buy 1, Get 1 1/2 off - All** LEGO City, Star Wars and Super Heroes Building sets.
Buy 1, Get 1 1/2 off All** LEGO Videogames (excludes LEGO Movie game)
Free $10 gift card with LEGO Movie Videogame purchase
Lego Electronics 25% off

**excludes clearance.

They are also advertising - "Parents, bring in your LEGO Movie ticket stub and receive a scratch and reveal card for cool giveaways" (max 75 per store)

I think that is it.

There's no exclusions on this B1G1 50% off right, for City, Star Wars, and Super Heroes OTHER than clearance, correct?

It didn't say anything in the flyer but it wouldn't surprise me if there was...

Anyone else considering Arkham Asylum for the BOGO 50% off? My Toys R Us has about a dozen of these on the shelf at $209.99. Only thing is that I would have to buy 2 to maximize the deal as there's nothing else I'm after in that price range. This would bring the price down to about $157.00. A little cheaper that US prices which isn't bad considering the value of the Canadian Dollar. I also have to factor in that this set never goes on sale. You never know when it might retire so this might be the last kick at the cat?? Another positive would be the Toys R Us 45 day return policy. I have the comfort of knowing that if I change my mind (or run out of food and money ) I can always return them, as opposed to Ebay or US Lego Shop@Home. Any thoughts??

Deal works on the large version of the X-Wing (10240), gogogo.

Tested also the Arkham Asylum set, works on that too.

Some stores have these sets displayed but I would assume they might purposely have less put out (and thus the chance for the big sets are lessened as they're quickly nabbed) or hide them in preparation for this promo. Online as of 9:42am EST both sets are still in-stock.

Edit: Just noticed they sell Ewok Village but it's out of stock. If only I had knew they had that set...would have ordered it last night then get it adjusted today. Oh well, was going for the XWing anyways originally.

Promotion worked on X-Wing and Akham Asylum. Total was $376.89 including taxes.

I noticed it last night but couldn't think of another set to double up with to get the discount... besides a second ewok set, which would be just a tad ridiculous/beyond the budget.

Just buy 2 boxes of it. Open one to play with and keep another one for investment.

That's what I just did with Red Leader X-Wing and Super Star Destroyer. Honestly never thought I'd own those, but at 25% off, with resell value already higher than what I paid, it's worth it.

Broke down and picked up 2 x Arkham Asylum Breakouts yesterday. Want to build one, will keep the other for an investment.

On the other hand, if I attempt to return 1 of them, what would TRU do? Would I be getting 1 at 25% off?

They'll refund you 1 at 50% of it's regular price.

I had to grab the X-Wing and B-Wing. I missed the first X-Wing when it came out years ago (Got the Tie Interceptor instead, still a super-cool model), and I missed the B-wing 50% off sale because I wasn't up at midnight with the rest of the crazy buyers when Shop at Home did that sale.

Too bad they don't carry the Death Star, I would've grabbed that and maybe a second SSD. Does anyone know if the DS will be retired any time soon?
