Called my local Target late last night in SoCal and they had them in the back and they put the whole display out.
I went through the whole display and got the remaining figs to complete my set, except for Chief Wiggum (because I was tired I mistaking though Maggie's torso was his head piece

). Went back to get the Chief to finally complete my set, and some extras like Homer. Really like the minifigures and hope they make more in the future. :)
Also note, with your redcard you get them for $3.79 a piece.

I saw them at the Stoughton, MA Target today, but did not have time to search through.
I bought 2 at LEGOLAND (in CA) for my husband as he is a huge Simpson's fan, I have to say they are pretty cool. I was not going to get the entire set, but think I need to find the rest.

120 figs gone in 48 hours after I announced it last week at one of the targets by me. Makes me think these will be harder to get right now. But I think Lego will do a few runs to recoup for new head molds.

Same here at the nearest Target, although all I ever saw was the empty box.
Went to a Target farther out of range today, and found 2 120pack boxes set out. Was able to find all 16 (I hope... may have two Ralph's and no Milhouse by accident). But, I don't expect them to last long at the second location, either.
Hoping that the Lego store will have more to choose from over the next few weeks.

Found them at the Target on route 11 in Cicero, NY. Anyone know what to feel for in order to get Krusty? I tried to find the pie but couldn't in the 20 or so I felt.

TLG won't be producing enough of this set to meet demand. I highly suggest everyone interested in completing sets to do so asap, before all the reinvestors, speculators, and AFOL's clean out your targets, walmarts, and tru.
I believe the MSRP on this one was raised to recoup costs of the head molds and the licensed property, but I'm not 100% sure.
The figures are all fantastic.
JeffBock2, yeah the pie and Krusty's head is easy to find. It appears there are 4 Krustys a case and he is one of the more popular characters. (Krusty seems to be one of the most picked over) so it may be Krusty was already gone. the core family seems picked over too, but there are 5 of each, and much more common to find extras still on displays. And the core family with Ned Flanders is in the Simpsons House set.
Apu
Burns
Cheif Wiggum
grandpa
are all 3 a case too so I suspect Burns and Apu to be VHTF down the road with the other characters limited to 3 a case.
cheers guys and good luck!
my favorite fig is definitely Burns with the 3 eyed gold fish!

His hair spikes out on both sides. Then you feel for the pie. :D
