Walmart Star Wars Clearance

Found a great deal at my local Vernon BC Walmart today. 75015 Alliance Tank Droid was in the clearance aisle but didn't have a shelf front price on it. When I price checked it was $5.00! That was originally a $24.99 set, so a 80% savings. There were 10 in stock and I grabbed a couple.

Not sure if it would be the same from province to province. Let me know if you find any others. I price scanned about a dozen sets and this was the only good discount I found.

Generally speaking, Walmart does clearance on a store by store basis. There are two Walmarts in my nearest town, and on more than one occasion I have found an item on clearance at one, still at full price at the other. Nice find though.

checked out my local walmart for the clearance, but they didn't have any lol
going to check out another walmart near work, i'll report back if i do find it at same clearance price!

Agree, different store and their department head are given an amount to cast on clearances. So if one store see a lot of dead stock on any items, they will put those on clearance, where the other store on the same item might have near to nothing left, and therefore not on clearance. Varies from store to store. Nice find on the Jango which is around $5 by itself.

I went back today and realized they had more than just the 10 sets in the clearance aisle, they also had about 8 sets in the main Lego aisle... so I'm guessing it was a case of having way too much stock of this one set.

Same Walmart today had tons of 50% off sets... City Cargo Truck for $24, City Stunt Plane for $12, StarWars Z-95 Headhunter for $29, and some half price Chima and Ninjago too. I just took a recent trip to Vancouver and didn't see much clearance at any of the other Walmarts along the way.

Certain Walmarts seem to always have stuff on clearance, while others seem to never have anything..

I was stunned when i saw that and went there to check out if they still had any sets left but found nothing. The people that managed to pick it up got a great deal though.
They did have a stash of those 10664 Lego Creative Tower`s for $40 if someone is interested.
