Gamestop Plastic Man

As some of you may know, Gamestop offered a Plastic Man minifig as a bonus for pre-ordering Lego Batman 3. Uppon picking up my copy I inquired, "what do you guys do wit h the extras?" I was told they sit around & if I checked back in a week I could have some. I think I caught them off gaurd but sure enough the nice people threw 2 my way!

Well, I recently moved from a very populated area where if you pre-ordered you still may not get a figure because they disappeared so fast and were horded by employees to a much more rural location. I was very pleasantly surprised to see they not only had plastic man but several bags of the previous pre-order figures.

With my lego Batman 3 I left the store with the following:

2 Platic Man
3 Western Emmets
1 Good Morning Bilbo

Darn fine haul :)

Thanks for the info - after hitting 3 Gamestops, I came upon a fourth one and walked away with - get this- 14 Plastic Men for FREE!!! I was so, so blessed.

Called my local Gamestop and asked if they had a couple I could buy.

The associate politely told me they would not sell me any, but if I swung by I could have a couple for free if they still had some in stock. Came home with 2. :)

I just called closest gamestop to my house. Guy said that he can't sell it but could give me one. I'm back from the store with one plastic man :) !!
Tomorrow I'm hitting all game stops on my way home from work.

I called 3/5 of the stores in the GR area. The first two either said they were out or couldn't sell them without a copy of LEGO Batman 3. The third store I called hooked me up with one for free! Thanks for the tip!

I checked my local Gamestop today. One guy had no idea what I was talking about. Another chimed and said they had none left but typically he said they give extra's away. I'll definitely be checking back in the future.

Request: please don't hoard them all when they are found. I'll certainly take 2-3 if they will give them to me or if they'll sell them because I have my son and others that I shop for but I certainly won't take large quantities even if offered.
