Wal-Mart Canada Increases Free Shipping Threshold, Target closing ALL remaining stores by April 12, 2015

With Target rapidly leaving the country, Wal-Mart Canada has recently changed its free shipping service. Instead of free shipping with no minimum purchase, Walmart.ca will now require you to spend at least $50 prior to receiving free shipping. When Target came to Canada back in 2013, Walmart Canada re-launched the Walmart.ca website with shopping capabilities. They did not have any shopping capabilities before that. Effective April 7, 2015, all purchases under $50 will have a $4.97 shipping charge.

All Target stores in Canada will be closed after April 12, 2015.
