3 Lego Fusion sets 75% off

Ack I ordered 11 sets 5/3/3 and my package only weighs 13 lbs! What a pain.

I know that somebody said earlier here that they received only 5 sets which was 16lbs, that means that all 15 sets will weigh about 50lbs? Really? Does anyone have this set already and could put it on scale? About 3lbs per set? I guess it could be.

hmm, let me go weigh my actual box with 5 sets. Maybe 16 lbs was the accurate weight for all 15 sets in the box, but they didn't put it all in? Or somebody swiped them after it was weighed? Not sure why they wouldn't just steal them all though. brb with actual weight, not just the one from fedex.

Ok the friends one is 14 ounces. So My package weight of 13 lbs seems right. I wonder if the weight said 16 on the label but did not actually weigh 16lbs?

Did it look tampered with? Maybe they were taken enroute?

Ok, my big box with 5 sets weighs only 7 lbs. Not sure why the FedEx info says 16 lbs. Either somebody opened my box and stole 10/15 lego sets after it was shipped, or they somehow submitted what it should have weighed if they had put all the correct stuff in the box.

My guess is that they enter the weight for shipping online based on data in the computer and don't weigh actual boxes, eg they planned to ship you 16 lbs of stuff but there was only 7 lbs there but they shipped it as is so you would get whatever you could. My guess is those in the warehouse just fill orders however they come and don't have the power to cancel orders, so the inventory needs to be pretty accurate or they're paying to ship empty or partial boxes when they run out. I did look online and sure enough I have a 16 lb box headed my way, which hopefully isn't empty! I'll post what I find when it arrives, it has reached my state but not my city so far.

We tried the resort designer. It looks cute, you can pick the skin color, eye color and hair color of your avatar and then you can run around and also put stuff in your house. Unfortunately I couldn't get it to recognize our fusion plate, I'm wondering if it was not bright enough so I'll have to try again tomorrow during day light... It basically just looked like it is scanning for the plate but then nothing happens.
The game looks nicely created like the duplo and juniors games apps.

The only thing I can't seem to figure out is why the skinny windows have a hole or notch in the center. I thought at first the shutter went there but it will only close if it is in a wide window. I guess I need a LEGO 101 class!

Has anyone else played with theirs yet? I looked up a how to and I think part of my problem was that I needed a white surface and no clutter while scanning. My other problem is I was trying to match the image to the plate by being directly over it, when you just have to get the plate to line up line you're taking a photo and the plate is the ground of the photo. Of course I don't have a lot of time during the day when there's good lighting and keep forgetting to try it again. My son did make what looked like a simple giraffe and what he called a dog (he's 3) with the pieces so it's not a total bust but I'm curious about seeing something we've built get loaded into the game!

I got a new phone so i tried fusion resort designer again today, is really cool, they actually build your house. My old phone wouldn't show the grid or the fusion button even though it was marked as supported. If it doesn't see the plate right away and you have a white uncluttered background, I'm guessing it won't ever work for you. It worked instantly on my new phone. It was cute too see the friends build the house!
