TRU: The Joker's Bumper Car Poly with $30 purchase

My local TRU has 30303-1 The Joker's Bumper Car as a giveaway for $30 LEGO purchases. I'm assuming this is nationwide.

Stopped by TRU today, they wouldn't sell me one outright. I had to buy 30$ ... which I didn't.

They had them out on a rack last week at the TRU closest to me. I bought a couple then. They either pulled them or sold all of them, because they are gone now.

My local store ran out of them, they said the got only one box and ran out after 2-3 days, but the clerk also said they shouldn't be out til Sept. 1st, so no idea if they're coming back for a sales run again after the promo.

Also do not forget to keep checking TRU.com for them as well. Though the window they are available there is usually short as well. Do not forget to ask CS either. Do not assume they are gone/sold out until someone confirms it.

I picked up a few from the website, though it was with FREE store pickup. Delivery was not available, and only 1 store out of the 5 nearby had them.

I got the last one last week without buying anything else. When I scanned it, it said lego promo and the price tag. I also scanned a Friends polybag and it also said promo.

I just checked my TRU again today, and they had about 20 of them hanging on an end cap where the mixels usually are for $3.99 each.
