Lego Winter Toy Shop (10199) may be discontinued soon
Re: Lego Winter Toy Shop (10199) may be discontinued soon
Gotta remember it's not just about the weight, but also about the size of the package.
The Winter Toy Shop is a relative large size box, and I know in USPS has issues with packages outside what it deems "Normal size" and makes you pay extra for the 'abnormal size'.
Bought a bunch of stuff in Vegas while on Vaca in March (including the Passenger and Cargo trains)... ending up being something like $60 to ship a box that was the "Extra Large" box... and that was within the US! Thats probably why they are trying to gouge you... stupid box sizes...

I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

Indeed. High prices, and no sales. :?unclephn wrote:Being a Lego enthusiast in Canada has quickly become very, very frustrating!

For me, from Brunei (South East Asia), I used myus.com to get the Legos sent to me thru DHL, as amazon/S@H don't sent Lego overseas. What I do is, I will get amazon/S@H to send the sets to myus.com base in Florida, and from there, they will charged a service fee+DHL fee to get them delivered to me. In my case, even with shippings included, those sets are still cheaper than I buy locally (and the local malls don't carry exclusive/hard to find Lego). You might want to check myus.com out to have a look at their shipping costs.

Does anyone know where I can get this in Canada at MSRP? I regret not picking this up while it was still in production. :| I better buy the Bakery soon.

Looks like Amason is out of stock again. Target has 23 left.
