Why aren't there more "girl" themes?

Hopefully, the new Friends theme coming out will be more Lego and less Bellville. Rumors say there will not be any traditional minifigs, but they will have "buildable figures", whatever that means.

There is. It is called "G.I. Joe." No the little ones, the big ones are the same scale as Barbie. They are made by the same company. Some of the buildings and accessories fit either one.

Buildable figures probably means that the figures are made out of blocks compared to minifigures.
