I hear you. Some of those sets would be great to have at 50% off. :3 But if not, I think I'm done, I have to resist this urge to buy.

Been watching deals for a while and that's right - 50% off only comes around every so often... this also works with their flyer deal of 25% off previously reduced toys. I found 7596 Toy Story Trash Compactor for $60 reduced for 25% off in addition. Combinded with the coupon it came out to $22.50 - too bad they did not have any more of it!!! Can't get better than that (well 'free' would be better)...

Yup, 50% off any set is the just about the best deal you can find in Canada. Unfortunately, the (3) Zellers I went to were nearly empty of Lego, but I managed to score a 4194 Whitecap Bay for half off. I will try again in a couple of days to see if they get anything else in.

For me, both Lego S@H (nothing interesting) and Toys R Us (no stock) were quite disappointing with their Boxing Day sales; who would have thought Zellers would have saved the day? Thanks for notifying us, r1chard!

Came back from the Metrotown, Burnaby Zellers, they had limited selection, most sets weer pick over. They did have the SW Podracers set which I think it a great deal.

The selection is also really bare in GVRD locations. Brentwood, Metrotown and Oakridge has close to nothing good. Shelves are also really messy.

Best location to go to right now is in Richmond. Their shelves are still somewhat well stocked with lots of Podracers, Sith Infiltrator, Geonosian Starfighter, London Escape, The Mill and King's Carriage Ambush. There were also lots of Alien Conquest sets including Earth Defense HQ. Whats shocking is that I even found 2 City Corner sets and they scanned at $79.99. I guess someone returned them.

This is a really good coupon as the prices are even cheaper than 30% off BN prices. However, I did not get anything as I already brought the Star Wars sets from BN already. Was debating whether to get the Naboo Fighter or not, but $30 still seems pretty ridiculous for that set. I guess I will just grab a pair of runners or something instead. :)

I don't recall seeing that set. But I think they had lots of Space Shuttles and Power Boat Transporters. I can't remember, but they may have Space Center and Harbor there too.

The Brentwood location had *1* City Fishing Boat and it was actually tucked away in a different aisle. I picked it up and moved it back to the LEGO section.

I did a whirlwind tour of Richmond, Oakridge, Brentwood and Metro locations.

Oakridge has most of the PoTC sets.

Brentwood is your best bet for City Space Center, Harbour, and Marina. They also had a couple of Ninjago Earth Dragon Defense and one Skull Motor Bike.

All locations have a good stocking of all Alien Conquest sets, PQ Rise of the Sphinx and Cursed Cobra Statues, Pod Racers and Sith Infiltrators.

Brentwood does not have any PoTC Mill sets, but they have plenty of the smaller PoTC sets.

Metro also has some Log Cabins, 1 Toy Story Trash Compactor, a number of Skull Trucks

Not many good sets in Atwater so ended up picking up a gold necklace as sale price was 50% off 1,200 plus i got another 50% off = 300$

And yes i did pick up a 7962 which they only have 2 left for 62$

Usually they are pretty slow restocking... my local Zellers don't have much in stock. No Harry Potter, no Creator, no Kingdoms - just the odd sets... I don't think there will be much more by Dec. 30... but hopefully I am wrong

I don't really keep up with the stock situation at Zellers, but they seem to a bit slower than TRU/Wal-Mart. Anybody remember when they got in 2011 sets last year?

I just remembered that the Bank and Money Transfer set is a Zellers exclusive. But $64.99 is way to expensive to 405 pieces. $32 bucks isn't bad... anyone recall seeing this set at any Zellers locations?

At $30 it is a steal given today's pricing structure! It's a nifty set for that price. Even below 10 Cent a piece as it has 318 pieces... would recommend the set for $30!

None to be found - probably retired now... (I checked 3 Zellers in North/Central Ontario).

Actually, I only found 2 and they were hidden in the messy shelves. Last week, most of the Zellers I've been to still had like 10-20. Guess people brought them all up last minute for Christmas with BOGO 50% off.

If your Zellers has messy shelves, do look around. Not that I'm into this set, but I did find some rare stuff like 8678 Ultimate Build Francesco (they had 1) in the Richmond store.

I was able to pick up the Lego Kingdoms: King's Carriage Ambush set at my local Zellers at half off! They had about 5 sets left. I didn't see any Lego city 2012 sets though.
