I added the Kings Joust to my cart - nothing else - and it still shows the chrome droid & poster added in the cart. So does this work for anything over $75 or is this a mistake? The offer details clearly state Star wars orders over $75. I would much rather have that joust set than anything else (shame the death star isn't on sale) but I don't want to check out if I don't get the droid.

only decent set to buy is the SD so I pulled the trigger using a combination of vip points, gift cards and shipping it to the states to save $100 compared to cdn sale price. I have to spend about $20 to drive and pay the $5 pickup fee at niagara falls NY but will still end up with $75 savings compared to shipping it to canada and paying cdn.

amazon had the best price for the ISD at $170 (and no tax) so probably can wait for another amazon sale. Yes, you sacrifice the tc-14 but with the difference in price, you can probably take a portion of that money saved and buy one off the many sellers you will find shortly on ebay/bricklink.

It be nice if that happened again but the chances of that happening is close to zero. The Imperial Shuttle looks beautiful but I just can't justify paying for it even at 20% off the Canadian, even the American price.
Yup, if only they messed up like last time. Even more funny is that they thought they fixed it afterwards... but instead, they made the Millennium Falcon for $0.01.

Not the best deals with this sale but its hard to pass up the SSD at only $320. You gotta figure you will get $15 back in VIP points, free shipping, a poster, and a bagged protocol droid. Probably wont see this set get any cheaper again.
Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?

Sure you will... I have no doubt that at some point this set may well be 50% when near EOL. Or at least 25% off, and at least 20% next May 4th.

It isn't selling well, from all accounts...

9489 Endor Rebel Trooper & Imperial Trooper Battle Pack is now out of stock. I believe many shoppers ordering this as the filler.

Has a large/ucs SW set (ie over $140 and over) at shop@home ever gone down to 50% off near EOL? I think the most was 30% off.

Because it will be on sale...
It will be - at these «sale» prices they won't sell much.
I just recently started collecting LEGO after 20+ years, but from what I've seen the UCS Star Wars sets don't go on clearance sale prices. All they have to do is stop production and they will eventually sell out. There are LEGO speculators that will scoop those up as soon as they are OOP and resell on ebay or BrickLink for higher than MSRP.

You may be able to find it cheaper on a Black Friday deal or something but good luck getting it. There are some good deals on Amazon, but they are very short and easy to miss. 20% off UCS set with a collectible minifigure is a really good deal. May be able to do better, but not by much and not without risk of missing out on the deal.

EDIT: As someone else noted, you get VIP points which is about an additional 5% off the sale price.

Good deal on the SSD. Picked up my second one.
Everyone says that it's not selling well which is unfortunate. I really would like a medical frigate and calamari cruiser (maybe midiscale) to go along with this.

Is the poster online only or also in store?

I can't seem to checkout. I added some SW and s7 minifigs over $75 and when I hit place order it keeps going back to the shopping bag.

I've tried it on the iPad and my phone, I don't have my PC today. I am not getting a confirmation number, I hope I haven't ordered 10 times as I've tried it quite a few times! :lol:no all the stuff is still in my cart.

Any idea what is happening?

SSD needs to be at least 35% off Canadian MSRP or more to be worth it for me. If only this sale lasted until June so I could pick it up when I holiday in the States. (Then again, I've already got over $700 worth of LEGO planned for that trip...)

I've always thought it was silly they didn't release the summer wave on May the 4th. That would be something to get excited about.
I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!

Confirmation emails are SLOOOOW in arriving. My first order took over an hour to get the email, the 2nd order (placed 5 minutes or less later) still hasn't shown up yet.

But then I didn't try from a mobile device, went straight to the desktop to order ;)

EDIT: Checked online at my order status, and both orders showing up, so looks like I'm good - yay!

I was able to order non-SW items and still qualify for the TC-14 minifg at checkout. They also have the Alien Conquest Earth Defense HQ on sale for half off at the time of this post. So I'm wondering if I'll get the two I ordered plus the minifig, that would be a sweet deal.

Saw it at the store today and the box seems so small! I guess I was expecting something bigger!
