Ultimately though it's the bricks that matter - as long as they are all there I am certainly happy with a sale like this. However, I agree the box matters; if the sale was 20% off I'd be very upset!

yes, that's almost exactly my thoughts. What I really care about are the bricks. But I'm sincerely sorry for you guys to whom box condition matters

if you have not tried shipping to store or outlet, please try it - not a guarantee but if you are in a store already and have to return then no hassle and you can vent to the CSR too! The last 3 times I went with the shipping to an outlet (mr cleaners in richmond hill) method and it has worked so far; all good boxes and the easy-to-peel label. I ordered 4 sets this time and 3 boxes were excellent, and one was not great but it was not a result of shipping. When they drop it off at an outlet I am thinking they are taking better care of items (compared to shipping to a home). Maybe lucky last three times but I am going to keep using this method until I get crushed boxes which I doubt because imagine the scenario from the perspective of the outlet person receiving these from the sears delivery person - If I was running an outlet for sears I would not sign for them or accept them if you knew the expected of a customer coming to your outlet to pick these up.

For those too far to a store or outlet then there is no solution for you guys!
