Saw several Home Ones at The Colorado Mills Mall store (Golden CO) about a week and a half ago.

Re: [USA/CAN] Legoshop sale
Can someone from the US PLEASE pick up a Winter Village Bakery set on sale (and ONLY if it is on sale) for me here in Canada? I'll pay for someone who's willing to send it over for a reasonable shipping cost. PM me or something if you're willing. Even with shipping and whatever customs cost I'll need to pay it'll probably be cheaper than getting it here (which I think you can't anymore unless from S@H) and that's why I'm asking.
Re: [USA/CAN] Legoshop sale
the set is big and heavy.. the shipping will be a lot even within US... unless you dont want the box that may make everything much easier and cheaper....

Re: [USA/CAN] Legoshop sale
I got my magnets order canceled. I brought it when it says available. Then it says backorder on my order. Now its canceled. Did anyone else get their orders canceled too?
Re: [USA/CAN] Legoshop sale
Received my Star Wars magnets a couple of days ago. In fact to my surprise, I received more sets than I ordered. Maybe that explains why your order was canceled. :)

LEGO, it's not just a toy, it's an addiction... ;)
Re: [USA/CAN] Legoshop sale
I can't tell you how many emails I received from lego after placing orders for many sold out items that re-appeared. I called for most and ordered 5 of each since the prices were so good. They sent me three different notices telling the DV TIE was gone as well as the farm set and the Cairo Ambush set. But I put in an order for 5 Kingdoms Advent calendars (these are awesome for the kids) and they shipped three and canceled the other two in two separate emails. But then they both showed up on different days in different boxes. Go figure.

According to the statement from LEGO, only the new magnet sets from PQ on are going to be glued, the sets produced prior to that are normal.

I think you can tell by the packaging. Any of the old 2010 white packaging should be unglued. The new blue 2011 packaging is glued.cowbug wrote:ImmortalShark wrote:Were the figures glued to the magnets?beethead wrote:Received my Star Wars magnets a couple of days ago.

I also think the sets that are glued say so in fine print on the back of the package, I know PQ sets do.Bricksnapper52 wrote:I think you can tell by the packaging. Just check S@H if you're unsure. The magnets that are glued say so in the description, and have all received the lowest ratings possible from people who have bought them.

I wonder how long until Lego quits making the magnet line due to lack of sales? I know there is a way to remove them from the base, but most of the general customer base wont be motivated enough to do that. They should just remove the magnets, charge $5 bucks more and call them minifig multi packs. That way collectors and kids will have a way to buy the figs they want without being forced to buy a $100 set.

Bricklink =)
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.
Re: [USA/CAN] Legoshop sale
Just called the regular phone number from the website. This was weeks back now so I doubt anything is in stock. I even put orders in for sold out items that still appeared on the webpage. None of that actually got shipped, but they tried and took the order anyway.jcefaratti wrote:Cstojano: When did you order those sets?
Re: [USA/CAN] Legoshop sale
My local Lego Shop had the POP magnet set 1/2 off, $7.48. Online its still full price, not sure if this is an in store only clearance of if they will go on sale online soon.
Re: [USA/CAN] Legoshop sale
I saw POP magnet 50% off last month in Glendale, CA store, too.

Just got an e-mail that my Wind Turbine Transport has been cancelled. Pretty crappy to go this long and then cancel it.
Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?
