What do you do with the LEGO boxes?

I open both ends, lay them flat, and save them

We don't have a lot of storage space in my house so I would prefer to throw them out...but my son insists on saving them. I do the same as jeremyp4 - I slit open both ends with a knife then flatten them.

I toss them unfortunately. I would love to keep them and do something with them, but alas, no room.

I have been keeping all the boxes so far. I flatten the small boxes and put them in the bigger boxes. I'm out of room though, so I am considering selling/recycling them. I still have all the boxes from the sets I got in the 80s when I was a kid. It's great looking at those yellow Legoland boxes

I've sold a couple of Lego boxes through BL by using recycled boxes of stuff sent to my coworkers. Monitor boxes are great for shipping empty Lego boxes in.

When I was a kid I used to keep every box. When I became older and picked up a thing or two now and then, I threw out all packaging. Kind of sad since I had, among other things, the original Darth Maul/Qui-Gonn duel set and that hard to find Luke-Han-Fett minifigure three pack!

I just found a lot of my old stash last weekend at my parents house, like the original King's Castle, Black Falcon Castle, Knight's Joust, Horse Cart, Castle Minifigures (with the Robin Hood guys), Laser Ranger and another Space Police vehicle. I was glad I kept all boxes for those! I just have to find all those otehr odds adn ends I picked up over the years, LOL...

I also do the same as jeremyp4 - I slit open both ends with a hobby knife then flatten them. All the flattened boxes go into the big boxes I have like the Modulars.

Lego boxes are part of the magicals that is Lego! I use them (swap them over when I'm feeling motivated, too!) to line the back of the huge shelf my minifigs hang out on. For storage... always an issue... I try to fit them as best I can into each other and tuck them away. However, I'm not sure for how much longer this will be viable. It was okay when they were just mine... but now I has 2 kids, both Lego fiends!

I've always ket mine. Maybe I'll sell them someday. LEGO sets do sell for more on Ebay when they come with the box.
When I run out of room for my boxes, I'll have to put them in the attic.

I save the boxes, mostly from larger sets.

My wife throws them out!

I love the LEGO boxes. I think their design is what pulls me into a set more than anything. Major kudos to their design team. I also keep all them because it increases the value of the sets if you want to resell them. I don't destroy anything LEGO :)

I always save my boxes. That way if I decide to sell them, i'm sure someone would be more likely to buy them. plus if i have to disassemble, I've got somewhere to put them to keep all my pieces from getting mixed.
