Re: EBATES 2%
tru has always been on ebates at 2%. most items now don't have instore pickup and its free shipping anyways.atmail35 wrote:Ebates is offering 2% back for TRU, I swore they weren't on Ebates for the past month or so, darn, could have saved a bit on two transactions! I have to remember to check ebates EVERY time!
Go through Ebates and do pick up instore to save shipping but still get credit.

Re: TRU BOGF50% Harry Potter, SW, Creator and Duplo July 17-
for canadians trying to buy from toysrus.com, has anyone successfully completed a purchase using a canadian credit card? I don't have a US-based credit card, but I am using paypal to bypass the US only requirement. Of course I cannot take advantage of the $25 further discount through mastercard that I could have used on the two hoth base (btw it was out of stock for shipping but is now available again; however, I got an email after submitting my order that it is backordered.)
BUT if someone from canada was able to call their credit card company to change address to one of many border places offering addresses to canadians and to use it successfully at toysrus.com; (they have a note on the website that the primary address has to be US even though secondary addresses may be associated with a credit card), please let me know. Thanks

Re: EBATES 2%
I'm pretty sure it went away for a while, when I placed my last order in early July I could not find TRU on Ebates, but I suppose I could have missed it. Anyway, in store pick up is a nice option if you don't want to spend $75 or 100 for the free shipping. AND you don't run the risk of getting damaged boxes.ricefields wrote: tru has always been on ebates at 2%. most items now don't have instore pickup and its free shipping anyways.
PS I'm only mentioning ebates b/c TnB does not currently have a affliate program through them.
Re: TRU BOGF50% Harry Potter, SW, Creator and Duplo July 17-
Toysrus on ebates was gone for a while. Not sure how long. It went to 1%, then it was gone. Now it is back at 2%.
Re: TRU BOGF50% Harry Potter, SW, Creator and Duplo July 17-
If anyone nabbed 2 Tower Bridges and wants to sell one / trade one PM me and we can try to work something out.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.
Re: TRU BOGF50% Harry Potter, SW, Creator and Duplo July 17-
tower bridge, MF and FB are all in stock.
I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!
Re: TRU BOGF50% Harry Potter, SW, Creator and Duplo July 17-
Apparently TRU's "email me when available" isn't very reliable as FB & GE were back in stock w/o notice and back to out of stock. :(

Anyone know is there a limit on how many you can order?
i got 2 death star in an order, 2 diagon alley in an order, 2 hillside house. all B1GO 50
then now i try to add 2 emarld night... and it won't let me, it tells me that i max out on it. but if i add 1 emarld and 1 shuttle expedition it works. but i want 2 emarld tho.. any ideas?

@benfoldsrock, the same thing happened to me. TRU used to restrict to 5 of a LEGO item per order (even though they listed as max of 6 per customer), now they only allow a quantity of 1. Not much good for the B1G1/B1G2 sales.
I don't think that it has anything to do reaching an online limit, as I logged off of the website and still had the same limitation. My guess would be that they are tired of their stock running out so fast and are trying to save it for kids who want to buy just one set.
I hope that this policy will be reversed, but I won't hold my breath...

Re: TRU BOGF50% Harry Potter, SW, Creator and Duplo July 17-
This is a brand new policy. Yesterday I could add two Tower Bridges to my cart - now I receive this message while attempting to do the same:
The product quantity for an item in your shopping LEGO Creator Tower Bridge (10214) has exceeded our Maximum Purchasing Policy. The product quantity is now adjusted to meet our policy maximum. For details, refer to our {1} Maximum Purchasing Policy.
Of course, I can't find any such policy spelled out on their website...
Edit: After some experimentation, it looks like this policy only applies to sets that cost $99.99 or more, NOT limited to those on sale or special B1G1 50% (IE, applies to all sets above that price point). Very interesting...trying to cut down on the resellers perhaps?
Edit again: This definitely does not apply to only those who have ordered mass quantities of LEGO from TRU - I get the same message while logged in as a guest to their website.

i have try on other computer as well. But you can add 2 different one that qualify just not the same one. so i might add tower bridge and 10212 imperial shuttle... but they are both still very new. so i might just let it pass this time. i am glad i order the 2 death star and 2 diagon alley before the new policy.

The last time I was in TRU I had to complain to a manager to get a 20% coupon to go with the BOGO50% sale.gabriellee11 wrote:Have anyone tried to use the 20% off unique coupon with BOGO 50% off?? Do they stack?

We are on our way back home from our road trip. Found the family home (6754) at a TRU in Amarillo, Tx. It was BOGO50%off.

Saw the new SW line, a fellow from Canada got the staff to uncover the new hoth set from the back room. $95 for that set, holy moly.
I got two ewok attacks since the sith speeder was out. 40.47 with a "free"blacksmith attack with this months $10 off 50 dollar purchase coupon I held onto until now.
