SQ1 Zellers has a bunch of bigger city sets but no Kingdoms.

Zellers @ Dundas near UTM in Mississauga has two prison tower rescue (69.99 msrp) left.

First off, thank you!

I've picked up some odd sets here and there and managed to get a Naboo Starfighter because I had the original but because I was young and foolish so the majority of the set is a lost cause. For whoever is in the GTA, Pickering Town still have 3 left. They were just placed up on the very top shelf; got a CRS to help.

Like many had said, many of the licensed sets are getting more and more expensive... so half off was a steal for me who intended to get it anyway.

My experience was same as you.

I visited Zeller today. Found one Naboo Fighter but put it down. Even $30 for this set is not worth.

Just got 1 Blacksmith Attack (last one) for 6.49 before Tax. There were some City Harbour, Star Wars, Alien Conquest, log cabin, space, and Cars 2 set at the store. Only 1 set from Harry Potter, POTC, and Pharaoh's Quest. No more of Kingdoms and bank money transfer

It would be nice if the store gets Batman set before Saturday.

Lynn Valley store had 10+ King's Carriage Ambush if anyone in GVRD is looking for that. Also had some SW bps, Ewok Attack, Battle of Naboo, Log Cabin, some of the bigger Cars sets along with the common PQ/AC sets.

They changed the terms of the coupon (formal notice posted at the Cashier's) - they no longer allow combining the coupon with the flyer offers). The coupon can now only be applied to one regular price item - so no more LEGO that was previously reduced...

I was about to score a PoP set with camel for 15 bucks when the cashier dropped the bomb.

Guys let's file complaints against this to make it official. But I guess everyone already got a piece of it when it worked. Definitely it is a Zellers trick to get people into their stores.

This promo is slowly going to dry up their stock so they can prepare for Target to move in next summer. I think we should be expecting a huge sale right before Target starts taking over.

It's pretty clear they didn't fully evaluate the impact of the coupon (considering the steep discount and duration) and they're paying the price for it. I think it's pretty good of them to continue to honour the coupon on regular priced items. To try and rally massive complaints when this has probably been the best boxing day coupon/sale so far is ridiculous.

Personally, I think Zellers did a great job on their sales this year (although they could've communicated the sales a bit better to their CSRs, since most of them had to call a supervisor for every coupon that was used). They had decent sales on Lego and coupon stacking like the 10% off, along with a $10 gift card with a purchase of $40. Then to top it all off, they had a 50% coupon for almost anything in the store. How anyone can complain about it is beyond me... it's too bad that they've finally become relevant/competitive with their sales in the year they close down their stores.

Too bad about the no longer stacking thing, but if any one is in the Collingwood area the Zellers there has lots of LEGO, including Kingdoms, Alien Conquest, Sith Infiltrator, large City sets like the Harbour and Marina, so PotC and Cars.

Very disappointed that they introduced the Regular Price rule, for some reason there was a City Advent Calendar the popped onto the shelf today, I scanned and it was on clearance for $19.99, but unfortunately I can't use the coupon along with it because of the rule. I went just yesterday and there were a whole bunch of Rod Racers, now they are all gone.

Let me see, they had lots of the Kings Carriage ambush, a few of the Prison Tower Resuce, and at least one escape from Dragon Prison. I don't recall seeing anything else.

Thanks again! I am contemplating if it's worth it to drive up to Collingwood... the Dragon Prision sounds tempting.

That's what I did as well. Ended up with the City Harbour transport, Alien EDHQ, Alien UFO, POTC Mill, and SW Sith Infiltrator.
All neat sets that I was not willing to pay full price or even 25% off to get. 50% sealed the deal.

I went one last time today, to get the UFO set, and the cashier did not look happy to see the coupon on my phone( Isaved the pdf in the download), and she wrote a big note on her copy of the reciept.

I felt pretty bad when I told a Mom with her kids about the coupon in the lego aisle and was showing her where to go on her smart phone to get the coupon, when I saw it was replaced by a $10 off coupon.
