Nice pics with very nice price. Most of them are 30% or more than 30% off MSRP. Obviously, the Silver mine pricecut is the best deal among those, I would grap at least 2 of it if I were there.

Your stores have last year's sets? It's like with Target too, around here they run out in December and restock the LEGO isle in mid January with 2014 sets.

I hit one today and they were in the process of marking down sets. Most of the discounts were around 30%. Here's what I saw:

I haven't seen a heartlake flying club at a WM in a year. Too bad, it would be a great parts pack at that price.

If anyone picks up some Black Gate's at $40 or LR Trains for $49 and wants to trade let me know. I've got a handful of random sets I'd be willing to trade from Tie FIghters, LR Stagecoaches, Fireplanes etc.

Lots of stuff marked down 30%-50% at my local store - due my limited budget this month, end up getting:

Galaxy Squad - the Hive crawler for $35 (50% off)
Castle - Gatehouse Raid for $21 (30% off)

EDIT: They had discounts on Galaxy Squad, Castle, City and Lone Ranger sets (oddly no super heroes or SW sets were discounted as noted in the OP).

I saw the Heavy Lift Heli at 30% off, still overpriced at that price for me.

A Wal-Mart near me had a bunch of red clearance tags but almost everything was still full MSRP (or close to it, just the standard few cents off which WM always has). Even sets like Goblin King Battle were full price, as were the 30 or so Mirkwood Spider Attack sets.

Thanks for the tip, stopped on my way home and picked up the Lone Ranger Constitution Train for $49.
Most everything else was 30% off.

I would love to find that Lone Ranger train at that price, and even the Star Wars Old Republic Sith vs Republic troopers. Good deals.

I can confirm the $21 Gatehouse Raid, $49 Bug Obliterator and also the $11 galaxy squad set was marked to $7. Wasn't sure which one that is, and didn't really inspect, since that theme does not interest me. Other than that, relatively little to report.

I was able to grab the LotR Black Gate for $40. I also saw the Comanche Camp for $11. I didn't pick that one up but I'm second guessing my decision. I may just stop on my way to work in the morning to get it; any advice?

I went to three stores here in town. Two of them had items on clearance but the Lone Ranger stuff was not in stock. The third store has a bunch in stock but there are no clearance tags in the Lego section at all and they scan full price. Any way to find out when they will clearance? Anyone else running into this?

I checked out one WM today (in New England if that matters). No clearance items. They had a couple in the middle of January but nothing new and the older markdowns were all gone (in mid January I got a random Alien Attack commander set for $9.50, and they had a bunch of Creator sets for $13, reg $17 and some Star Wars).

Today they had plenty of Lone Ranger, Star Wars, Galaxy and more, nothing marked. I scanned about 8 different sets, figuring maybe something would pop, but nothing. Stinking scanner was a pita too. Doubting myself since I didn't scan anymore, but figured none of them have been marked. Any idea when they might mark them again?

Not much at my local Wal-Mart, but they did have the Galaxy Squad Galactic Titan for $49.
They also had the LR Mine for $35 (but none there) and no evidence of the Train.
LOTR Black Gate was not on clearance.
