Lego Store sales
Lego Store sales
Passed by the Lego store today at Sherway.
New product is in - the Lego Friends Jungle items and Shopping mall. New Ideas sets - the mech and the scientist set.
Also noticed many sets from various themes (Ninjago, Super Heroes, Star Wars, Architecture, Friends, Chima, etc.) were on sale. I think it would be about 20% but just a select few from each theme.
76016 Spider-Helicopter Rescue - $43.98 (down from $54.99)
Friends Summer Riding Camp - $99.98 (from $125 I think?)
Some Star Wars Microfighters but not all - $10 and change
Ninjago Garmatron - don't remember price
Architecture Japanese temple or something like that
Not much different on some than the TRU sale going on now, though you do get your 5% Lego VIP credit and if you can make $100, the mini Mini-Cooper polybag

Re: Lego Store sales
Do you know if the Lego Architecture set you're referring to was this one:

I don't see any "temple" whit in the architecture line. I'm definitely looking at picking up the above hotel if it's on sale, I appreciate if you can help to confirm.

Re: Lego Store sales
I'm not OP but this is a Korean temple Architecture set

Edit: The Architecture set is in fact, the Imperial Hotel. Sorry!

Re: Lego Store sales
To bring closure to my own question, Just got back from Fairview and It was in fact the 21017 that was on sale along with the rest of their 2013 Architecture sets: 21015 Tower of Pisa and 21018 UN.
Picked up all three at 20% off as I think they are going to be d/c soon specially as the 2014 sets have already been around for a while. I like these sets as they can make great addition to my rec room's decor.
Thanks gain for the initial HU OP.

Re: Lego Store sales
I called the Sherway location after reading this to see if it was in fact Sungnyemun, and the girl who answered said 3 other people had called through the day asking the same, and of course, as mentioned above, it turned out to be the Imperial Hotel.

Re: Lego Store sales
Apologies for providing false information. I assumed Japanese temple meant the Sungnyemun
The only Architecture set that interests me is the Eiffel Tower, hopefully that goes on sale someday.

Re: Lego Store sales
NP. Actually that Korean set is a "gate" of sorts, I've seen it up front years ago it's quite intricate and the Lego set also came out quite nice that's why it didn't register with me as a "temple". All is well though, I still wanted the Imperial Hotel nevertheless even if a bit pricey even after the discount.Legobrandon wrote:Apologies for providing false information.
