This year, Toys R Us Canada stores will be having the following LEGO Bricktober 2014 events! Excludes Toys R Us Express and the location at Cedarbrae Mall in Ontario.

LEGO Star Wars Minifigure Trade-In

Saturday, October 18th (All Day)

LEGO Batman Bat-Signal Make and Take

Saturday, October 25 (Building starts at 11am)
Maximum 100 per store

LEGO Star Wars Rebel Make and Take

Saturday, November 1st
Building begins at 11am
Maximum 200 per store

Can someone explain this to me

Its simple really. You bring in one of your mini figures (I suggest battle droids, or firemen) that you don't want, and give it to an employee. They then give you a different mini figure. In the beginning you'd just get what ever they had from previous trade ins, but the last time or two they had a big box of brand spanking new ones for you to pick from. Oh, you have to be a kid to take part usually. This one will be Star Wars figures that they are giving out if I read the fine print correctly.

LEGO Star Wars Rebel Make and Take, read more discription on the US site. It say we get to build a mini Ghost, I wonder if it will be the SDCC, Fan Expose ghost exclusive, now that would be interesting.

I have two kids, so that's not a problem. But I don't have any Star Wars Sets :P

You don't need Star Wars. They'll take any minifigure. I recommended Battle Droids as they are A) garbage, and B) plentiful in my house, but any figure will do. Just remember you have to give them one to get the new one so make sure its not something you need.
