Love the idea. I've been wanting to take the Fire and Police stations and make a more full structure out of them to at least be somewhat similar to the modular structures, not necessarily sitting between, but this is amazing.

About what % of the parts would you say were from the 60004 Fire Station? The white pieces I'm sure had to be found elsewhere.

Great looking build! Classic architecture. Really nice.

I especially like the grooved bricks for the pediment.

I would say that 60004 only accounted for about~30% of the parts for this MOC minus the vehicles. Most of the parts were for the interior glass walls, columns in the garage bays and upper floor, the 2 Shutter doors with their white grove bricks (I added another set of shutter doors) and of course the interior bits.
The large foundation plates for the 60004 went into the roof and the support of it.

The thing about the CITY Police and Fire Rescue building sets is that they are design without walls and use mostly 2x2 based bricks for columns so there's a definite need to top up 1x2/3/4/6/8 bricks to fill those walls. One will also need lots of 1x plates and flat 1x plates to make the floors removable.

I knew I was going to need more red and especially white bricks which is why I went for used bricks to manage cost. I did get some new parts such as the shutter doors and small details like lamposts, clock, etc

Here's a shot of the the amount of white and red bricks I sourced for the station before building. I had to do another round for white bricks as well.

I must say it requires focus when sourcing parts, I kept seeing other interesting parts for other potential builds during the picks but kept reminding myself to stay on track with fire station.

After the build I still have extra whites and abit of red, which is fine whites is always good to have and I enjoy working with white anyway.

That is impressive. I particularly like the grill/rail piece put above the door (and windows above) with the arch in front of it.
