We get a bigfoot! I was going to make one from the beaver clan of Chima, but this is way better. The gargoyle is awesome. The wings on its back are one piece. Now I have seen 14 of the figs and they all look great. Does anyone know what the other 2 are?
Gargoyle, Skeleton, Plant Eating Man, Zombie Cheerleader, Grim Reaper, Lady Vampire, Monster Rocker, Halloween Trick or Treat Skeleton, Cat woman, Werewolf, Zombie businessman, Pirate Zombie, Mad Scientist, Purple witch.

The Grim Reaper looks amazing with that phantasmal lower body. The Skeleton seems very interesting since it's clearly a regular minifig wearing a Skeleton costume. It makes you wonder: are they all supposed to be in costume or is that poor guy surrounded by real monsters?
They all look great. Hope to see them hit the stores soon.

I'm really curious about the other 1 or 2 as well.larsnelson76 wrote:We get a bigfoot! I was going to make one from the beaver clan of Chima, but this is way better. The gargoyle is awesome. I've seen Mutant Bugman floating around on some lists. But they be confused about the man-eating plant? Could someone have called it a Venus fly trap at some point.. which changed to Fly-man.. and so on? Maybe not. Here's a picture of a "fly" head that some are guessing are for Mutant Bugman:
http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=htt ... oAKHexjC44
IF "Mutant Bugman" is correct (and isn't the man-eating plant) then that is one of the missing minfigures
Some lists include "specter" AND "Grim Reaper". If this is true #3 in the photo's above may be either of the two. I think that would be the "Specter" meaning we still haven't seen the Grim Reaper minfig yet.
So it could be that the missing 2 are "Mutant Bugman" and "Grim Reaper" (or Mutant Bugman and Specter if the pictured one is the Grim Reaper).
I created two lists. On the left is a list of what we have seen (following the sequence of the pictures posted going from left to right). The second list is the minifigs listed on brickipedia but in the same order as my first list. Several sites list all 16 but then reference brickipedia so I chose that list.
Here's a link to the Zombie Business man with new hairpiece at Idlehands:
http://idlehands1.blogspot.com/2015/07/ ... s-get.html
The zombie businessman in earliest photo reveals had a 2x2 printed tile on his head. Maybe he will have a newspaper? If so I hope its a new one.
In earlier photo reveals the skeleton boy had the head that is now being used for the Specter (or grim Reaper)
While searching the web for info someone pointed out that they shirt and pants of the Werewolf (shown so far) has the same clothes of the Lumberjack from series 5. That's cool.
Could the wings of the gargoyle be also used for "weeping angels" for doctor who (upcoming LEGO Ideas set)?

At this site there is another picture that shows the new hair piece for the specter, but the torso and head are not right. http://minifigpriceguide.com/wordpress/ ... z-website/
It is translucent black or brown. So it would be amazing if the the whole minifig is translucent like the hair, which would make sense for an almost invisible ghost.

I thought that the grey hooded figure with chains was the specter and not a grim reaper since he doesn't have a scythe. Of course he doesn't have to have a scythe though although they could have easily made one with a existing parts like they did in the 7079-1: Drawbridge Defense set.larsnelson76 wrote:At this site there is another picture that shows the new hair piece for the specter, but the torso and head are not right. http://minifigpriceguide.com/wordpress/ ... z-website/

The hairpiece in the picture (in your link) is interesting. It could be for a specter. If thats the case and the finished hairpiece is actually semi-translucent that could mean the rest of the figure is translucent (like you said)? That would be cool.

Are skeleton and Halloween trick or treat skeleton two different figs?Toys N Bricks wrote:Idle Hands has revealed additional images of the upcoming Halloween LEGO Series 14 Minifigures (Monsters Theme). We haven't seen the reaper, the one shown is clearly a specter like thing. The reaper wouldn't have chains, he have a scythe.

Looks good!! glad i dont have to see the simsions packs for much longer.
Re: 71010 Series 14 Halloween LEGO Minifigures - Additional
So maybe its not a Grim Reaper after all... rather its a banshee? Which could explain the translucent hairpiece discussed earlier. Maybe Bigfoot in the LEGO world is Squarefoot just as Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde in LEGO form is Dr. Good and Evil

A few nice ones in this set like the ghost and the skeleton costume but I think I can safely pass on most.

I love the banshee. It's not completely translucent, but still very nice. It seems like it would be useful to make dementors for Harry Potter.
Overall, I love almost all of the minfigures from this wave, but I also found that I loved the monster fighters theme a lot more than I expected when it came out.
I got the castle, werewolf chase, and haunted mansion so these will great with those ones.
