Air Galleys

[Exolothon]

Flying out of the third century BC, the air galleys are the ultimate symbol of pre-Hellenistic aerial supremacy in the ancient world. Leaving terra firma far below, ancient crews once maneuvered these winged ships into the air to contest for each others heavenly dominions.

Each galley features realistically flapping wings operated by a wheel on the stern of the ship. Galleys are made up three principle segments: a bow segment, a wing segment, and a stern segment. Wing segments can be combined in series to create variably sized vessels. By turning the wheel on the stern segment, the wings on all connected wing segments will flap, lifting the ship into the air.

I supported both this one, the Easter Island build, and T-rex sets. Nice work and clever ideas. I would love to see the Dragon Crown helmets (brickset #6122 from set 6082 and others.. ) in production again. The flapping wings are a great idea and the ships are well designed. Good luck!
