Toys R Us and Bricktober

Does it happen every year? I only started collecting not too long ago, but I wonder if it happens every year that they run a deal a week.

I havent seen pictures and I dont know if there are actually coming as a magnet or just a minifigure. I would say wait until the October 3rd weekly ad.
